Description
The Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS is the trimmed down version of Andro Corp’s 8 inch 300 BLK pistol. Everything forward of the receiver is identical to the braced CQB, but the back end wears an MPS, a minimalist pistol stabilizer that strips away the adjustable tube and the bulk that comes with it. What you get is the shortest, lightest way Andro Corp Industries sells this platform. Part number 3008CBMPS, UPC 615629599493.
What the MPS changes on the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS
MPS stands for minimalist pistol stabilizer. It is a fixed, skeletonized stabilizing device rather than an adjustable brace on a carbine receiver extension, so it adds very little length and very little weight behind the lower. If your reason for buying an 8 inch 300 Blackout AR pistol is that it disappears into a pack or behind a seat, this is the configuration that does it best.
The trade is adjustability. A five position adjustable brace lets you change length of pull for a jacket or a plate carrier; the MPS does not. Decide which of those two things you care about before you order, because the two builds are otherwise the same gun at nearly the same price.
Everything else on the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS is standard ACI-15. A 7075 T6 mil-spec upper with T-markings and M4 feed ramps, a 7075 forged lower with a mil-spec parts kit, and an M16 profile nitride bolt carrier group doing the work.
Barrel, gas and handguard
The barrel is 8 inches of 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel, QPQ Melonite finished inside and out, cut 1:7. That fast twist is what lets the gun stabilize the heavy 200 and 220 grain subsonic loads that make 300 Blackout worth owning, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 under an A2 flash hider.
The Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS runs a pistol length gas system behind a .750 low profile gas block. On an 8 inch barrel this is the only arrangement that reliably cycles supersonic and subsonic ammunition without tuning, and 300 Blackout is unusual in that it burns nearly its whole charge in this little distance, so you are not giving up much velocity to a 16 inch rifle.
Up front the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS carries a 7 inch M-LOK free float handguard. It clears the gas block and leaves you room for a light and a hand stop, which on a gun built around being small is about all you want hanging off it anyway.

Andro Corp Industries covers the ACI-15 line with a lifetime warranty and publishes the build sheet on the Andro Corp Industries product page. Quote part number 3008CBMPS when you order, because 3008CB without the suffix is the SBA3 braced version and the two are easy to mix up. If you want that one instead, the ACI-15 CQB with the adjustable SBA3 brace is on the shelf too, and the rest of our in stock firearms are worth a look.
The MPS is the lightest and shortest back end Andro Corp offers on this platform.
A 1:7 twist runs heavy subsonic 300 Blackout properly instead of keyholing it.
An 8 inch 300 BLK barrel gives up far less velocity than an 8 inch 5.56 NATO barrel does.
Mil-spec dimensions mean your existing AR magazines, optics and triggers all carry over.
Anyone who wants the smallest practical 300 BLK host: a truck gun, a pack gun, or a dedicated suppressor host once the ATF approves the stamp, which is a separate purchase since MAG5 Firearms does not sell NFA items. If you already own a full size carbine and want something genuinely different to sit beside it, the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout MPS is the compact end of the same family.
