Description

The Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout is what 300 BLK was actually designed for. The cartridge was built to burn its full powder charge in a short barrel, so an 8 inch tube gives up far less velocity here than it would in 5.56 NATO, and you end up with a gun that fits in a backpack and still hits like a rifle at across-the-room distances. Andro Corp Industries builds it in the USA under part number 3008CB, UPC 796258933299, and MAG5 Firearms stocks it braced and ready.

Why the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout makes sense at 8 inches

The barrel is 8 inches of 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a QPQ Melonite finish inside and out, cut 1:7. That twist rate matters more on this gun than on most: heavy 200 and 220 grain subsonic 300 Blackout bullets are long for their weight and need a fast twist to stay pointed forward. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and wears an A2 flash hider out of the box.

The Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout runs a pistol length gas system behind a .750 low profile gas block. On a barrel this short there is no other sensible choice, and the combination is what lets the gun cycle both supersonic and subsonic ammunition without a tuning session.

The upper is 7075 T6 mil-spec with T-markings, M4 feed ramps, a forward assist and a standard ejection port cover, running an M16 profile nitride bolt carrier group. The lower is 7075 forged with a mil-spec parts kit and an A2 grip.

The brace, the handguard and what you should know before ordering

Out front the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout carries a 7 inch M-LOK free float handguard that covers most of the barrel without touching it. Seven inches is not much real estate, so think about what you actually need on it: a light and a hand stop usually earn their place, and everything else tends to be weight you carry for no reason.

The Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout ships with an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable stabilizing brace on a carbine length receiver extension, which is what keeps this firearm classified as a pistol rather than a short barreled rifle. Leave it configured the way it arrives. Putting a conventional stock on an 8 inch upper creates an SBR, and that requires ATF approval and a tax stamp before you build it. MAG5 Firearms does not sell NFA items.

One 30 round magazine comes in the box. There are no sights, so budget for a red dot and a mount; the flattop rail runs the full length of the upper and will take anything standard.

Andro Corp Industries covers the ACI-15 line with a lifetime warranty and lists the full build sheet on the Andro Corp Industries product page, while SB Tactical publishes the adjustment detail for the SBA3 fitted here. Quote part number 3008CB when you order. If you would rather have a full length carbine on the same platform, the ACI-15 Bravo with the 16 inch barrel is the rifle version, and the rest of our in stock firearms are worth a look while you decide.

An 8 inch barrel loses very little to a 16 inch barrel in 300 Blackout, which is not true of any 5.56 build.

The 1:7 twist runs heavy subsonic loads properly instead of keyholing them.

The SBA3 brace adjusts across five positions, so the gun fits over a jacket or a plate carrier without tools.

Mil-spec dimensions mean your existing AR magazines, optics and triggers all transfer straight across.

Truck guns, pack guns, home defense inside a hallway and anyone building toward a suppressed setup once their ATF paperwork clears all point at the same firearm. If you already own a 5.56 carbine and want something meaningfully different rather than a second copy of what you have, the Andro Corp ACI-15 CQB 300 Blackout is the honest next purchase.
