Description
The P365 family solved the problem of fitting a real fighting grip onto a pistol small enough to disappear under a shirt. The Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round is the version of that pistol built for shooters in capacity-restricted states, and it gives up nothing except two rounds per magazine. Same 3.1-inch barrel, same XSeries grip module, same optic-ready slide, two ten-round steel magazines in the case.
What the Ten-Round Configuration Means
SIG builds this variant so the platform stays available where magazine limits apply. The Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round is legal everywhere, and if you live somewhere with no limit you should buy the twelve-round version instead, which we list separately. We would rather say that plainly than have you discover it after the transfer.
What you are not giving up is the part that matters most. The Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round uses the same frame, slide and barrel as the standard gun, so trigger feel, recoil behaviour, holster fit and sight picture are all identical. Magazines are the only difference, and standard-capacity magazines drop straight in if you later move to a state that permits them.
The XSeries Grip Module
What separates this pistol from the base P365 is the grip. The Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round uses the XSeries module, which adds an integrated carry magwell and an extended beavertail to the micro-compact frame. The magwell funnels reloads that would otherwise be fiddly on a gun this small, and the beavertail lets you drive your hand higher on the backstrap, lowering the bore axis relative to your grip and taking some of the flip out of a light 9mm.
The trigger is SIG’s XSeries flat-faced unit with a ninety-degree break. On the Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round it gives a cleaner, more predictable press than the curved trigger on the base gun, and the flat face makes consistent finger placement easier for shooters with shorter fingers.
Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round: Optics and Sights
The slide on the Sig Sauer P365X 9mm 10 Round is cut for the COMPACT footprint, the same pattern as the Shield RMSc, so a ROMEOZero Elite, ROMEO-X Compact or comparable micro red dot mounts directly with no adapter plate. XRAY3 day and night sights are fitted at the factory, sitting in the rear dovetail as a backup if the dot fails or the battery dies. For a carry gun this size the dot is the single biggest accuracy upgrade available.
