The barrel is 26 inches in Weatherby Mag Sporter contour, fluted and finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. Length matters with 300 Winchester Magnum more than with most cartridges, because the case holds a big charge of slow powder and needs the room to burn it. This is the length that gives you the velocity the cartridge is sold on.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and wears an Accubrake, bringing barrel and brake to 28 inches together. On a rifle under seven pounds chambered in a 300 magnum, that brake is not optional equipment in any practical sense. Remove it and a suppressor threads directly on.
MDT HNT26 Chassis and Folding Stock
