Ultradot 4 Red Dot Sight Overview
This latest version of the Ultradot 4 brings back one of the most popular designs from Ultradot with a twist: four dot sizes in one sight. The 25mm tube gives you a familiar sight picture and quick target pickup without the distraction of a busy reticle. It weighs about 4.9 oz and is about 5.8 in long, and elevation adjusts in 1 MOA clicks. It runs on one CR2032 lithium battery, and run time depends on the brightness and dot size you choose.
Choosing a Dot Size
The 2 MOA dot is best for careful shots at distance or for bullseye style target shooting, where you want the dot to cover as little of the target as possible. The 4 MOA dot is a good all around choice. The 8 and 10 MOA dots are big and fast, which helps on a shotgun, a moving target or a fast pistol stage.
What Comes in the Box
Ultradot includes mounting rings, so you can put the sight on a rail right away. You also get lens covers, a tube extension that works as a sunshade, a polarizing filter to cut glare, a hex wrench and a bungee to hold the lens covers. That is a complete kit without hunting for extra parts.
Unlimited Field of View
Like other tube red dots, the Ultradot 4 is meant to be used with both eyes open. The tube gives you a clear frame, and your other eye sees the full scene around it, so you keep your awareness while you aim.

Zeroing Tips
Most rifle and shotgun shooters zero a red dot at 50 or 100 yards, depending on the gun and how it will be used. Start at about 25 yards to get on paper, then move back and fine tune. Fire small groups before each change, and confirm zero with the ammunition you plan to use.
Battery Care
Replace the battery once a year on a defensive gun, even if the dot still looks fine, and keep a spare in your range bag. Wipe the lens with a soft cloth or lens pen, not a shirt tail, to keep the coatings clean. If the dot seems dim or flickers, check the battery and contacts first.
