Description
The Trijicon SRO Green Dot Coyote is Trijicon’s Specialized Reflex Optic with a 2.5 MOA green dot and a Coyote Brown anodized finish. Its large round window and top-loading battery make it a favorite for competition and range pistols where a big field of view speeds up every shot.

Trijicon SRO Green Dot Coyote Overview
Trijicon part SRO2-C-2500035 is new for 2026, adding a green LED to the SRO line. The housing is forged 7075-T6 aluminum, and the sight uses the same mounting footprint as the RMR, so a huge range of plates and optic-cut slides already fit it. Windage and elevation adjust 1 MOA per click with 150 MOA of total travel, and the adjusters are tool-less.
Big Window, Fast Dot
The SRO’s large round lens gives a wide, unobstructed view, which makes it easier to find the dot if your presentation is not perfect and easier to track the dot through recoil. Trijicon notes it is parallax-free and works with suppressor-height iron sights. The 2.5 MOA dot is a good balance of speed and precision for 25 yard shooting.

Why Green
Green LEDs stand out in bright daylight, which helps on outdoor ranges and at matches. Many shooters with astigmatism also see a crisper green dot. Brightness offers an automatic mode plus 8 manual settings, 2 of them for night vision.
Top-Loading Battery
One of the SRO’s best features is the battery compartment on top of the housing, so you can swap the coin cell without removing the optic and losing zero. Trijicon rates battery life at about 2 years of continuous use at setting 4 of 8. Many competitors change it at the start of each season.

RMR Footprint
Because the SRO shares the RMR mounting pattern, it fits the same plates, milled slides and rifle mounts as Trijicon’s RMR. That makes it easy to upgrade from an RMR to the larger SRO window without new plates. Confirm screw length for your plate and use thread locker.
Know Its Purpose
The SRO is built for competition, range and training use rather than hard duty abuse. It is rated for submersion to about 10 feet, far less than the RMR, and its larger housing is more exposed. For a duty or carry gun, the RMR or RMRcc is the tougher choice.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
Your First Range Trip
Mount your optic, bore sight it, then fire your first groups at 25 yards before moving to 100. Let the barrel cool between strings, and record your zero and the load you used. Wear eye and ear protection, keep the muzzle in a safe direction, and clean the bore when you get home.
