Description
The Trijicon RMRcc Carry Red Dot is a slimmer, lower-profile version of the legendary RMR designed specifically for concealed carry pistols. This model, Trijicon part CC07-C-3100002, uses a 6.5 MOA adjustable LED red dot that is fast to find during a draw from concealment.
Trijicon RMRcc Carry Red Dot Overview
The RMRcc keeps the forged 7075-T6 aluminum construction and impact-diverting shape of the full-size RMR, but narrows the housing to fit slim slides and reduce snagging on clothing. It runs on a CR2032 with automatic brightness plus 8 manual settings, 2 of them for night vision, and Trijicon rates battery life at over 4 years at setting 4 of 8. It is rated submersible to 66 feet.
Built for Concealment
Everything about the RMRcc is aimed at carry. The narrower profile matches single-stack and slimline slides, the rounded edges are less likely to print or catch on a cover garment, and the low deck height helps with holster fit. It gives carry guns the same toughness that made the RMR a duty standard.
Why 6.5 MOA for Carry
Most defensive encounters happen at close range and under stress. A 6.5 MOA dot is large enough to catch the eye quickly when the gun comes out of the holster, even if your presentation is not perfect. At 25 yards it still allows solid hits on a torso-sized target.
Its Own Footprint
The RMRcc does not use the standard RMR footprint. It requires an RMRcc-specific slide cut or plate. Several manufacturers offer factory RMRcc cuts and Trijicon sells RMRcc plates and mounts. Confirm your pistol is compatible before ordering, because a standard RMR plate will not fit.
Controls and Battery
Side buttons adjust brightness and switch between automatic and manual modes. The battery sits under the sight, so replacement means removing the optic and re-checking zero; many carriers replace it annually. Windage and elevation offer 150 MOA of total travel.
Trade-Offs
The narrower window is smaller than full-size optics, so practice your presentation. As an open emitter, lint can collect around the LED on a carry gun; check and clean it regularly. Our earlier listing used a placeholder; photos are now Trijicon’s official images of this model.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
Your First Range Trip
Mount your optic, bore sight it, then fire your first groups at 25 yards before moving to 100. Let the barrel cool between strings, and record your zero and the load you used. Wear eye and ear protection, keep the muzzle in a safe direction, and clean the bore when you get home.
