Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round 4 in. Adjustable Sights Black – Superb Reliable Modular Pistol

Description

The Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round is Ruger and Magpul’s answer to a question a lot of shooters had stopped asking: why is the grip of a striker-fired pistol the part you are stuck with forever?

On this pistol it is not. The RXM is built around a Magpul grip module, and we stock those modules separately in several sizes and colors. This configuration is the 4 inch black gun with adjustable sights, 15+1, and two magazines in the box.

What comes with a Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round

• 15+1 of 9mm, with two magazines in the box.
• A 4 inch black FNC nitride alloy steel barrel and a serrated, optic-ready slide.
• Adjustable sights, which is not a given at this price.
• A black polymer frame with an accessory rail and a textured grip.
• 23.2 oz. Manufacturer part number 19415, UPC 736676194155.

The Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round grip module is the point

• Ruger and Magpul designed the RXM around an interchangeable grip module, so the feel of the gun is something you choose rather than something you accept.
• We hold the full-size black module in depth, plus the full-size OD green and compact modules in FDE, OD green and gray.
• That means one Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round can be a full-size range gun on Saturday and a compact carry gun on Monday, without buying a second pistol.

Why the Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round earns its place

• Two magazines and adjustable sights as standard, at a price where one magazine and fixed sights is normal.
• A grip module you can change, which is the one ergonomic variable that usually costs you a whole new pistol.
• Optic ready from the factory with the cover plate fitted.
• Ruger’s service reputation, on a design that shares its accessory ecosystem with the most common pistol pattern in America.
• A 4 inch barrel is the size most people should buy if they are only buying one: long enough to shoot well, short enough to carry.

Things worth knowing before you order. This is the 15-round configuration. Ruger also builds the RXM in 17+1, so if capacity is what you are after, check the part number rather than the model name — ours is 19415 and holds fifteen. The 4.5 inch threaded RXM and the 4.5 inch with adjustable sights are the longer-barreled options we carry, and the OD green 4 inch is this same gun in another color.

On the Ruger RXM 9mm 15 Round optic cut: the slide is cut from the factory and ships with a cover plate, but we would rather you sent us the model of dot you intend to fit and let us confirm the plate before you order than guess from a web page. Optic footprints are the single most common thing people get wrong when buying an optics-ready pistol.

Ammunition: Federal American Eagle 115gr FMJ for practice and Hornady Critical Defense for carry. At 23.2 ounces with a 4 inch barrel this is a pleasant gun to shoot a lot of rounds through, which is the best thing you can say about a pistol you intend to learn on.

This SKU cannot be sold into California, and there is no direct shipment to Rhode Island or Washington. Tell us the destination when you order and we will check before we take your money.
