Description
The North American Arms Mini-Master Combo (model NAA-MM-C) is the long-barrel member of the NAA mini revolver family. A 4 inch heavy vent barrel, bull cylinder and oversized rubber grip turn the tiny NAA platform into a small but genuinely shootable target and trail revolver, and the package includes both 22 Magnum and 22 Long Rifle cylinders.

North American Arms Mini-Master Combo Overview
This version has fixed low profile sights by Marble Arms. Overall length is 7.88 inches and weight is 10.8 ounces, still light enough for a jacket pocket or tackle box. The longer sight radius and barrel are the main reasons to choose a Mini-Master over a Black Widow: you get easier aiming, a bit more velocity and a less punishing muzzle blast than from the 2 inch gun.
What 4 Inches Buys You
Every extra inch of barrel helps a rimfire cartridge, and 22 Magnum benefits most. The 4 inch tube burns more of the powder before the bullet exits, which means a little more speed and less flash than shorter NAA models. The longer distance between the sights also makes small aiming errors less costly, so groups at 15 yards are noticeably tighter for most shooters.

Two Cylinders, One Gun
Use the 22 LR cylinder for most practice and plinking to keep costs down, and keep the 22 WMR cylinder for when you want more power. Changing cylinders takes seconds once you know the base pin routine. Store the spare in a pouch, and never mix up which ammunition goes in which cylinder, because the chambers are sized for different cases.
Handling and Trigger
The oversized grip gives a full hold, and the gun balances slightly muzzle heavy, which helps steady it. Like all NAA minis, it is single action with a spur trigger and no trigger guard. You cock the hammer for each shot. The trigger is light once cocked, so keep your finger off it until the sights are on target.

Carrying a Mini-Master
At nearly 8 inches long the Mini-Master is better suited to a belt holster or a pack than pocket carry. Lower the hammer into a safety notch between chambers when carrying loaded, and use a holster that covers the spur trigger completely. Many owners keep it as a trail gun for small pests or as a fun range revolver rather than for concealed carry.
Know the Limits
A 4 inch rimfire is still a rimfire. 22 Magnum is effective on small game and pests at modest range, but it is a marginal choice for self-defense compared with centerfire handguns. Rimfire ammunition also has a higher rate of misfires than centerfire, so test the loads you plan to carry and replace any rounds that fail to fire.
State Laws and Ownership
Check your state and local rules before you buy. Some states require a permit to purchase a handgun, others keep rosters of approved models that may not include NAA mini revolvers, and a few cities ban carry in places that surrounding areas allow. If you plan to carry it, your concealed carry permit rules apply exactly as they would to a full-size handgun.
