Why a Black Finish
Cerakote is a thin ceramic coating that holds up well to sweat, handling and cleaning solvents. In black, it makes the gun less reflective in a pocket or on a nightstand, and it hides minor carry wear better than polished stainless. Underneath, the frame, barrel and cylinder are still stainless steel.
Single Action Handling
Like every NAA mini revolver, it is single action only: you cock the hammer for each shot and the spur trigger drops into place. For carry, NAA provides safety notches between the chambers so the hammer can rest between cartridges rather than on a live rim. Learn the half-cock and rest-notch procedure from the manual before you carry it. The rubber grip gives a bit more purchase than smooth wood, though the grip is still small enough that most shooters hold it with two fingers.
22 Magnum From a Snub Barrel
A one-inch barrel cannot use all the powder in a .22 Magnum case, so you get a sharp report, visible flash and much less velocity than the box claims. Short-barrel loads like CCI Uppercut are designed for exactly this situation. Rimfire cartridges are inherently less reliable than centerfire rounds, so an occasional dud is normal; in a revolver you simply cock the hammer again to bring a fresh chamber under it.
Where It Fits
This is a pocket gun first. It slips into a pocket, an ankle rig or a small pouch where nothing else will go. The tradeoffs are five rounds, slow cylinder-removal reloads and limited practical accuracy beyond a few yards, so many owners carry it as a backup to a larger handgun.
