Description
The Holosun SCS-320 Green Solar Sight is a solar-charged pistol optic shaped to bolt straight onto SIG P320 optic-ready slides with no adapter plate. It carries a green Multi-Reticle System and recharges itself from light, so there is no coin cell to replace.
Holosun SCS-320 Green Solar Sight Overview
SCS stands for Solar Charging Sight. Instead of a replaceable battery, a solar panel charges a built-in cell, and Holosun rates the reserve at 20,000 hours. The housing is hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum, 1.85 by 1.15 by 1.06 inches and 1.35 ounces, with a 0.9 by 0.63 inch window. Windage and elevation adjust 1.5 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel, and it is rated for 5000G of slide-mounted vibration.
Made for the P320
The SCS-320 is contoured to the P320 slide and mounts directly to its optic cut, sometimes called the DPP footprint after the original Romeo optic. Direct mounting keeps the optic low and removes the plate, which is one less interface that can loosen. It also fits other pistols that share this pattern. Confirm your slide before ordering.
Green Circle-Dot
The MRS offers a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both together. The circle-dot is the favorite for defensive pistols because the ring is fast to pick up during the draw, while the dot handles precise shots at 25 yards. The 540nm green LED stands out in daylight, and many shooters with astigmatism see green more cleanly than red.
Fully Automatic Brightness
Multi-directional light sensors adjust the reticle automatically. There is no manual brightness menu, but you can lock the reticle at maximum for 30 minutes for bright days or when moving from dark to light. Shake Awake turns the reticle off when the pistol is still, and lockout mode prevents accidental changes. A low-battery indicator warns you if the cell needs light.
Open Emitter, Not Enclosed
Our earlier listing title called this an enclosed sight. Holosun lists the SCS as an open-emitter design, so the LED is exposed between the lens and the slide. Keep the emitter clean of lint and debris, especially on a carry gun. If you need a sealed optic for a P320, look at an enclosed model with a plate.
Living With Solar
A pistol stored in a dark safe will slowly use its reserve, so set it in the light occasionally or before a range trip. Holosun describes the built-in cell as non-removable, which means no battery changes but also no field-swappable power. For a gun that is carried daily or kept near a window, it is essentially maintenance-free.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
