Holosun 507 Comp Green MRS Superb Competition Optic

Description

The Holosun 507 Comp Green MRS is Holosun’s large-window competition pistol optic with a green reticle and a choice of three circle sizes around a 2 MOA dot. It mounts on the RMR pattern and is a favorite in USPSA Carry Optics and on full-size duty pistols.

Holosun 507 Comp Green MRS Overview

Holosun part HE507COMP-GR uses a 1.1 by 0.87 inch window in a 7075 T6 aluminum body measuring 1.8 by 1.3 by 1.3 inches and weighing 1.7 ounces. It is rated for 5000G of vibration, adjusts 1 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel, and uses a 540nm green LED that stands out against bright, sunlit backgrounds.

Three Circle Sizes

Instead of one fixed circle, the 507 Comp lets you choose an 8, 20 or 32 MOA circle around the 2 MOA dot, or run the dot alone. Small rings help frame precise shots at distance, while the 32 MOA ring is fastest up close. Tuning the ring to your eyes and the stage at hand is a real advantage for competitors.

Green for Bright Light

Green LEDs read brighter to the human eye in daylight than red, which is why many outdoor competitors prefer them. Shooters with astigmatism often see a cleaner green dot too. There are 8 daylight and 4 night vision brightness settings with memory and lockout, plus Shake Awake to save battery when the gun is still.

Battery

The battery loads through a side tray, so you never remove the optic and lose zero to change it. Holosun rates life at 50,000 hours on setting 6. Replacing it once a year as preventive maintenance is a common habit among competitors who cannot afford a dead optic mid-match.

Mounting

The optic uses the RMR footprint, so plates and milled slides for it are widely available. Many factory optic-ready pistols need a plate, so check your cut. Use correct screw length, thread locker and proper torque. The tall window usually calls for suppressor-height irons if you want a co-witness.

Things to Consider

As an open-emitter sight, debris or rain on the LED can block the dot, so it is better suited to competition and duty use than wet-weather concealed carry. Our earlier listing used a placeholder image; this listing now shows Holosun’s official photos of the green 507 Comp.

Ordering and Transfer

When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.

Safe Storage

Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
