GSG-9 9mm Pistol 10 Round Blued 7.9 in. Threaded – Reliable PCC Pistol

Description

The GSG-9 9mm Pistol 10 Round Blued (ATI model ATGERGGSG910B) is German Sport Guns’ MP5-inspired 9mm pistol, imported by American Tactical (ATI). It has a 7.9-inch threaded barrel with a 1-in-10 twist, fixed sights, a rotating safety knob and one 10-round magazine, with a blued finish on the steel parts.

GSG-9 9mm Pistol 10 Round Blued Overview

The GSG-9 brings GSG’s long experience with MP5-styled rimfires into 9mm, using an aluminum receiver, a hammer-forged barrel and a top Picatinny rail over a slotted M-LOK forend. ATI designed the platform around magazine adapters that accept double-stack Glock-pattern or SIG P320 magazines, so spare magazines are inexpensive and widely available. The distributor photo for this SKU shows a folding rear attachment, while the written specification lists only a polymer pistol grip, so please confirm configuration with us before ordering.

Pistol Rules and Rear Attachments

Because the barrel is under 16 inches, this firearm is sold as a pistol. Installing a true shoulder stock creates a short-barreled rifle that requires an approved ATF Form 1 or Form 4 first. Arm braces have had a shifting regulatory history over the past few years, so check current federal guidance and your state law before adding or using one. When in doubt, contact us and we will help you confirm what is included.

Barrel, Twist and Suppressor Use

The 7.9-inch barrel is threaded for a muzzle device and uses a 1-in-10 twist that stabilizes common 115 to 147 grain 9mm bullets. Heavier 147 grain subsonic loads are popular for suppressed shooting. A suppressor is an NFA item requiring an approved ATF Form 4, a tax stamp and a state that permits ownership. Confirm thread pitch before installing anything, and expect more carbon fouling in the receiver when shooting suppressed.

Controls and Sights

The GSG-9 uses a rotary safety knob and a left-side charging handle in the MP5 tradition, along with fixed front and rear sights. Most shooters will add a red dot to the top rail, which makes the pistol far quicker to shoot well. The trigger is adjustable according to ATI, and the M-LOK slots take a light, hand stop or angled grip, subject to pistol-grip rules for vertical foregrips on pistols.

Magazine Compatibility

This SKU ships with one 10-round magazine. Adapters for Glock-pattern and SIG P320 magazines are sold in three-packs, which lets you use magazines you may already own. Confirm which adapter is installed before buying spares, because the two patterns are not interchangeable. Magazines over 10 or 15 rounds are restricted in several states, which is one reason this 10-round configuration exists.

Strengths and Tradeoffs

Compared with roller-delayed MP5 clones, the GSG-9 is lighter on the wallet and easier to feed thanks to common magazines. It is also a newer design with a smaller aftermarket, fewer holsters and cases sized for it, and uncertain resale value. If you want a range-friendly 9mm pistol with MP5 lines and plan to add a red dot and possibly a suppressor, it is a sensible choice.

State Laws and Ownership

Threaded 9mm pistols with this layout are restricted or banned in states including California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois and Washington, and the pistol may not be on state handgun rosters where they apply. Magazine limits also vary by state. Check state and local law before ordering, and confirm that your receiving dealer can transfer it.
