Description

The Glock 19X V MOS 9mm Threaded is the crossover built for a suppressor. The barrel is factory threaded at 4.52 inches, the sights are AmeriGlo suppressor height so they clear a can, and the slide is cut for a red dot. Those three things are exactly what someone building a suppressed pistol would otherwise pay to have added one at a time.
Glock 19X V MOS 9mm Threaded Barrel, Slide and Frame
The 4.52 inch Glock Marksman Barrel is threaded from the factory and ships with a thread protector. Factory threading matters more than it sounds: a barrel threaded on a lathe after the fact can be concentric or not, and a can mounted on a poorly indexed thread is how baffle strikes happen. Glock cutting the threads means the bore and the threads share the same setup.
The slide and barrel wear a coyote coloured nPVD coating rather than the nDLC used on Glock black pistols, giving the same corrosion and abrasion resistance in a non reflective earth tone. Front serrations are cut alongside the rear ones so the slide can be worked from either end for a press check. The frame carries no finger grooves, which sounds like a small thing until a shooter with hands that do not match the mould tries the older design, and a flared magazine well funnels magazines in under stress.
What the V Series Changed
The V Series is Glock’s 2025 replacement for the Gen5 line, and from the outside almost nothing has moved. Grip texture, controls, ergonomics and trigger feel carry straight across, existing holsters still fit, and the shooting experience is the Gen5 experience. The changes are internal, centred on a redesigned firing pin channel and a reinforced rear trigger housing, and they exist to make the pistol substantially harder to tamper with illegally.
One consequence matters when buying parts: V Series internals are not cross compatible with Gen3, Gen4 or Gen5 components. Magazines and most external accessories carry over, but slide internals and some aftermarket trigger parts do not. Anyone planning modifications should confirm V Series fitment before ordering.
Safe Action and Controls
Underneath sits the Safe Action system Glock has used since 1982: three passive, independently operating mechanical safeties that disengage in sequence as the trigger is pressed and reset automatically when it is released. There is no manual safety lever to remember and no decocker, which is a large part of why the platform dominates duty holsters. The slide stop lever is ambidextrous and the magazine catch is reversible, so left handed shooters are accommodated without aftermarket parts.

Why Buyers Choose the Glock 19X V MOS 9mm Threaded
Suppressor ownership has grown steadily, and the usual path is buy a pistol, buy a threaded barrel, buy taller sights, then get an optic cut. This arrives with all four boxes ticked. The full size grip on a compact slide also handles the extra weight of a suppressor better than a smaller frame, since more of the mass hanging off the muzzle is balanced by hand behind it.
The other reason is the ecosystem. No other handgun platform has the depth of holsters, sights, magazines and parts that Glock does, and buying into it means never hunting for support. Armourers everywhere know the design, and the manual of arms transfers to every other pistol in the line.
Who Should Buy It
The Glock 19X V MOS 9mm Threaded suits the suppressor owner who wants a host pistol that needs nothing added, the shooter running a red dot who needs irons visible over a can, and the buyer who prefers the crossover layout in coyote.
