The 26 in. barrel is a 416R stainless core in a light target contour, hand lapped and wrapped in aerospace grade carbon fiber. The wrap takes close to a pound out of the barrel and pulls heat from the steel faster than bare metal, which keeps a magnum honest across more than two shots.
