Description

The Christensen Arms Mesa FFT 22 Creedmoor is a titanium-receivered lightweight rifle chambered in one of the flattest-shooting cartridges available in a standard short action. It runs a 20 inch threaded stainless barrel in burnt bronze Cerakote, an FFT carbon fiber stock with green and tan accents, holds 4+1, and carries a sub-MOA guarantee.
Christensen Arms Mesa FFT 22 Creedmoor and the Cartridge
22 Creedmoor is a 6.5 Creedmoor case necked down to .224, and the result is genuinely impressive. It drives 80 to 90 grain high-BC bullets past 3,200 feet per second with almost no recoil, which makes it devastating on coyotes and other varmints and a legitimate deer cartridge where legal. The flat trajectory means less holdover guessing at the distances where varmint shooting actually happens.
The low recoil is the underrated part. In a rifle under six pounds you can spot your own impacts through the scope, which is exactly what you want when a coyote does not go down on the first shot. Very few cartridges with this much reach are this pleasant to shoot from a light rifle.
Titanium Receiver, Barrel, and Stock
The receiver is titanium rather than steel, which cuts weight from the middle of the rifle where balance is set rather than just from the ends. It is drilled and tapped for standard bases and finished in burnt bronze Cerakote to match the barrel. The Mesa FFT line starts at around 5.9 pounds.
The barrel is 416R stainless in a featherlight contour, cut to 20 inches and threaded 1/2×28 with a removable seamless radial brake fitted. The stock uses Christensen Flash Forged Technology carbon fiber with spot bedding and carbon fiber bedding pillars, so the action sits in a rigid, repeatable platform. The trigger is a TriggerTech.

Why Buyers Choose the Christensen Arms Mesa FFT 22 Creedmoor
It is a rifle you can carry all day and shoot all afternoon. The titanium receiver and carbon stock keep the weight down for walking, and 22 Creedmoor keeps the recoil down for high round counts. Add a removable brake and a TriggerTech trigger and you have a predator and varmint rifle that shoots like a target gun and carries like a mountain rifle.
Barrel life is worth mentioning honestly. 22 Creedmoor is a fast-burning cartridge and barrels do not last as long as they would in 223 Remington. Most owners find that a reasonable trade for the performance, but it is worth knowing before you buy.
Who Should Buy It
The Christensen Arms Mesa FFT 22 Creedmoor suits predator and varmint hunters who walk a lot of ground, and shooters who want extreme reach without recoil. It also works well as a deer rifle in states where 22 caliber centerfires are legal, using the heavier bonded and monolithic bullets. If you shoot very high volume and want the cheapest cost per round, a 223 Remington will save you a great deal in both ammunition and barrels.
