Description
The Arex Delta X Tactical FDE is the full-size Delta in its threaded, optic-ready Tactical configuration, with a flat dark earth frame beneath a black slide. It ships with one 17-round magazine and one 17+2 extended magazine, and the slide is cut for a red dot from the factory rather than sent out for milling afterward.
Threaded, Optic-Ready and Full Size
Threaded barrel fitted from the factory, so a compensator or other muzzle device goes straight on.
Optic-ready slide with adapter plates supplied, covering the common red dot footprints.
Suppressor-height sights that co-witness over a mounted optic rather than disappearing under it.
The Arex Delta X Tactical FDE pairs a black slide with a flat dark earth polymer frame.
Frame, Controls and Magazines
Interchangeable backstraps, so grip circumference adjusts to the hand.
Ambidextrous magazine release and slide stop.
Serialized trigger assembly, which means the polymer grip module is not the regulated component.
One 17-round magazine and one 17+2 extended magazine supplied, giving 17+1 in standard configuration.
Striker-fired action with an accessory rail on the dust cover.

The X is the full-size Delta, which means a longer grip and two more rounds than the compact M holds. For a duty or home defense pistol that is the more sensible choice, since concealment matters less and the longer grip gives better control. The Tactical package is the same on both: threads, an optic cut, adapter plates and tall sights included rather than sold as upgrades.
Why it is worth considering
- Threaded barrel and optic cut both from the factory.
- Adapter plates and suppressor-height sights included in the box.
- Two magazines, one of them extended to 19 rounds.
- Ambidextrous controls and interchangeable backstraps.
- Serialized trigger assembly rather than a serialized frame.
Who it suits
Home defense and range shooters who want a full-size pistol set up for an optic and a muzzle device will get the most from this configuration. Note that MAG5 Firearms does not sell NFA items, so a suppressor would need to be sourced separately and cleared through ATF approval before it could be mounted on the threads.
Choosing Within the Delta Range
Arex builds the Delta in M, X and L sizes, each as a standard optic-ready pistol or in this Tactical configuration. The M Tactical in the same finish is the compact version holding 15, and the X Tactical in black is this pistol without the flat dark earth frame. Browse the wider handgun catalog to compare. Arex pistols are imported by Global Ordnance.
For practice, 115-grain full metal jacket is the standard load, with a 124-grain jacketed hollow point for defensive use. Spare 17-round magazines fit both the X and the L. All firearm orders ship to a licensed FFL dealer for transfer, and MAG5 Firearms will coordinate the paperwork with the dealer of your choice.
On the suppressor-height sights: they sit tall enough to be seen through most red dot windows, which gives you an immediate backup if the optic battery dies or the glass fogs. That is worth more on a defensive pistol than it sounds, and it is a component most people have to buy separately.
