The Arex Delta M Optic Ready Black is the compact Delta in all-black, with a 4-inch plain-muzzle barrel and a factory optic cut. It ships with one 15-round magazine and one 15+2 extended magazine, along with the adapter plates needed to mount a red dot, which makes it a complete carry package rather than a starting point.

All-black is the practical choice for a carry gun, and not only because it is conventional. A uniform dark finish gives away less in low light than a two-tone does, and scuffs on a black polymer frame are far less visible than they are on a light-colored one. For practice, 115-grain full metal jacket is the standard load, with a 124-grain jacketed hollow point for defensive use. Spare 15-round magazines are the correct pattern for the M.
On the serialized trigger assembly: because the serial number lives on the trigger group rather than the polymer frame, the grip module is an unregulated part. A worn or cracked grip can be replaced without a transfer, and different frame sizes become an option down the road.
