Akkar 206 Target Force 32 High Rib 12 Gauge Shotgun – Reliable Trap Gun with 7 Chokes

Description

The Akkar 206 Target Force 32 High Rib is the longest, heaviest and most trap-focused gun in the Target Force range. Catalogued as part number 131002, it stacks 32-inch barrels under a tapered high rib, finishes the receiver in high-gloss OxyCap, and arrives with an adjustable walnut stock, seven extended chokes and a Negrini ABS hard case already included.

Akkar 206 Target Force 32 High Rib: Built for Handicap Yardage

Everything about this configuration points at the trap house. The long barrels build swing momentum that keeps you from stopping the gun on a hard angle. The high rib raises your point of impact and lets you shoot with your head up, so a rising target stays visible above the bead instead of disappearing at the moment of truth. Combined weight and length also soak up recoil across a long round of shooting, which matters when you are counting hundreds of shells a weekend.

32-Inch Barrels with Tapered High Rib

Thirty-two inches is the traditional trap length and gives you the longest sighting radius in the lineup. The rib tapers along its run so the sight picture stays visually consistent from breech to bead, and a .730 bore diameter keeps patterns even at handicap distances. A tang safety with an integrated barrel selector sits under your thumb, letting you choose the first barrel without shifting your grip.

Fully Adjustable Walnut Stock

Comb and butt plate both adjust, so cheek height, length of pull and cast can be set until the pattern lands exactly where you look. On a trap gun this is not a luxury: shooting slightly high is a deliberate choice, and the only way to dial it in reliably is with an adjustable stock. It also means the gun can be re-fitted rather than replaced as a junior shooter grows.

Seven Extended Chokes, Ejectors and Negrini Case

Seven extended choke tubes come with the gun, spanning skeet, improved cylinder, modified and improved modified constrictions and more, which covers every yardage from 16 to the back fence. Automatic ejectors clear hulls quickly, and the parts to convert them to plain extractors are supplied for shooters who reload. Everything travels in a Negrini ABS hard case. The chamber is 2¾ inches.

Who Should Buy It

This gun is for registered trap and handicap shooters, for competitors who want a genuinely adjustable target stock without premium European pricing, and for anyone who prefers a heavy, deliberate gun that resists being rushed. The included chokes and travel case mean there is nothing else to buy before your first shoot.

Be honest about the trade-offs. The 2¾-inch chamber makes this strictly a target gun, so no 3-inch magnums and no steel waterfowl loads. The high rib that helps at the trap house works against you in the field, where birds often flush low and fast. At 32 inches of barrel this is a large, heavy shotgun that is awkward to store, slow to bring around on close targets, and tiring for anyone with shoulder or neck issues. Skeet shooters and sporting clays specialists will likely be happier with the 30-inch mid-rib version.
