The Beretta M9A4 18 Round is the full-capacity, full-size version of Beretta’s current military-pattern 92, and it is the most capable configuration in the line. Eighteen rounds of 9mm, a 5.10-inch threaded barrel, an optic-ready slide, and an aluminium frame with a beavertail and a Picatinny rail, all in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote.

Decocker only, and why it is specified
On a standard 92 the lever is both a safety and a decocker, which means the pistol can be presented with the safety engaged and the trigger dead. The G configuration on the Beretta M9A4 18 Round removes that entirely: the lever decocks and springs straight back to fire.
It is what most agencies issuing the platform ask for and what most instructors recommend. The manual of arms is otherwise identical, so anyone trained on a 92 transfers directly.
Optics, lights and threads
The Beretta M9A4 18 Round is set up for all three from the factory. The optic cut is machined into the slide, so it holds zero in a way no clamp-on mount does; adapter plates are footprint-specific and sold separately. The rail takes a standard weapon light with no adapter.
A suppressor is an NFA item requiring an ATF application and approval before transfer, and MAG5 Firearms does not deal in NFA items. The threads take a compensator or protector without any of that. Capacity and the law
