The Trijicon ACOG 2×20 Compact 9mm PCC scope is a compact, battery-free 2x optic built for 9mm pistol caliber carbines and other guns with limited rail space. Its red RTR reticle is calibrated for 115 and 147 grain 9mm loads, and it rides on a quick-detach compact mount.
Trijicon ACOG 2×20 Compact 9mm PCC Overview
Trijicon part TA47-C-400410 is new for 2026. It uses a 20mm objective and 2x fixed magnification, enough to sharpen your aim at PCC distances without slowing you down up close. Like other ACOGs, it is lit by fiber optics in daylight and tritium after dark, so there is no battery to manage. The housing is forged aluminum in matte black, and windage and elevation adjust 0.5 MOA per click.
The RTR Reticle
The red horseshoe and dot design is fast at close range, where the large outer arc frames the target, while the center dot and holdover points help at longer PCC distances. Because the reticle is calibrated for 115 and 147 grain 9mm, the holds will not match other calibers or very different bullet weights.
Shoot With Both Eyes Open
The scope is designed around the Bindon Aiming Concept, where you keep both eyes open: your non-dominant eye sees the full field while your dominant eye picks up the illuminated reticle. At only 2x, this works naturally even for shooters new to magnified optics, giving you near-red-dot speed with added precision.
Fiber and Tritium Illumination
A fiber optic on top gathers daylight to light the reticle automatically, and tritium keeps it visible in darkness. There are no buttons and no batteries. As with all fiber optic sights, the reticle can look dim if you are in shade aiming at a bright target, and it can bloom in the reverse situation.
Mount and Fit
The included compact mount uses Trijicon Q-LOC technology for tool-free attachment and return to zero, which is handy on PCCs that get stored in cases. Eye relief is about 2.1 inches with a 5.6 degree field of view, so you will need a consistent cheek weld. Check rail space on compact guns like UZI or MP5-style platforms before ordering.
Things to Know
Two power is modest; it is about clarity and precision at PCC ranges rather than long-distance shooting. Tritium dims gradually over a decade or more. Trijicon’s spec sheet lists an exit pupil figure in inches that appears to be a typo, so we have left it out.
Ordering and Transfer

Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
Your First Range Trip
Mount your optic, bore sight it, then fire your first groups at 25 yards before moving to 100. Let the barrel cool between strings, and record your zero and the load you used. Wear eye and ear protection, keep the muzzle in a safe direction, and clean the bore when you get home.
