Description

The Rock River Arms LAR-15 Coyote Rifle is a purpose built varmint and predator AR chambered in .223 Wylde. It carries a 20 inch chrome moly heavy barrel, a 15 inch free float M-LOK rail and a two stage Ultra Match varmint trigger, and Rock River guarantees it to 1 MOA at 100 yards.
The .223 Wylde Chamber
Wylde is the reason this rifle shoots the way it does. The chamber is cut to safely fire 5.56 NATO while holding the tighter freebore of a .223 Remington match chamber, so you get military ammunition compatibility without giving away accuracy with match loads.
Paired with a 1:9 twist, the barrel stabilises the 50 to 69 grain bullets that predator hunters actually use. That is a deliberate choice: heavier 75 and 77 grain match bullets want a faster twist, and this rifle is set up for varmint bullets rather than long range match work.
Rock River Arms LAR-15 Coyote Rifle Barrel and Trigger
The 20 inch chrome moly HBAR barrel gives you every bit of velocity a .223 case can produce and enough mass to stay consistent through a string of shots at a call. A Smith Vortex flash hider sits on 1/2-28 threads, and a low profile gas block keeps the rail clear.
The RRA two stage Ultra Match varmint trigger is what separates this from a parts bin AR. It takes up cleanly and breaks without creep, which is exactly what you want when a coyote steps out at 200 yards and you have one chance at the shot.
Handguard, Stock and Fit
A 15 inch RRA lightweight free float rail runs almost to the muzzle with M-LOK slots for a bipod, a light or a sling stud. Free floating matters on a varmint rifle: nothing you clamp to the rail changes where the barrel points.
The buttstock is the RRA Operator A2, the grip is a Hogue rubber unit, and a winter trigger guard gives gloved fingers room to work. Total weight is 8.4 pounds with an overall length of 40 inches, which is heavy enough to hold steady off a bipod or shooting sticks.

Why Buyers Choose the Rock River Arms LAR-15 Coyote Rifle
The Rock River Arms LAR-15 Coyote Rifle arrives finished. There is no plan to swap the trigger, replace the handguard or upgrade the barrel later, because the parts a serious shooter would fit are already on the gun and covered by an accuracy guarantee.
Who Should Buy It
Predator and varmint hunters first. Coyote callers, prairie dog shooters and anyone controlling foxes or groundhogs on farmland will get exactly what they need, and the same rifle doubles as a very capable range gun.
Be realistic about the trade-offs. At 8.4 pounds before optics this is not a rifle you carry all day on a mountain hunt, and the 1:9 twist limits how heavy you can go with bullets. No optic, rings or bases are included, and a 20 inch barrel is long for anything resembling a defensive carbine role.
