Description
The Arex Delta M Optic Ready is the compact Delta with a plain 4-inch barrel, a factory optic cut and a flat dark earth frame under a black slide. It ships with one 15-round magazine and one 15+2 extended magazine, which makes it a genuinely complete carry package rather than a starting point.
Compact, Optic Ready, Plain Muzzle
4-inch barrel with a plain muzzle, so standard holsters fit without needing extra clearance at the front.
Optic-ready slide cut at the factory, with adapter plates supplied for the common red dot footprints.
The Arex Delta M Optic Ready pairs a black slide with a flat dark earth polymer frame.
Accessory rail on the dust cover for a weapon light.
Capacity, Controls and Frame
One 15-round magazine and one 15+2 extended magazine supplied, giving 15+1 in standard configuration.
Ambidextrous magazine release and slide stop.
Interchangeable backstraps, so grip circumference adjusts to the hand.
Serialized trigger assembly rather than a serialized frame.
Striker-fired action.

The M is the compact Delta, which means a shorter grip than the X while keeping the same 4-inch barrel. For concealed carry that trade usually makes sense, because grip length is what prints under a shirt rather than slide length. The supplied extended magazine effectively converts the pistol back to a full grip when a longer hold matters more than concealment, which is a useful thing to have in the box rather than as a separate purchase.
Why it is worth considering
- Optic cut and adapter plates included from the factory.
- Two magazines, one standard and one extended.
- Ambidextrous controls and interchangeable backstraps.
- Plain muzzle fits standard holsters.
- Serialized trigger assembly rather than a serialized frame.
Who it suits
Concealed carriers who want a compact 9mm already set up for a red dot are the natural buyers, and the price is well below what an optic-cut pistol from the larger manufacturers costs. If a compensator or suppressor is in your plans, the Tactical version with the threaded barrel is the better starting point.

Choosing Within the Delta Range
Arex builds the Delta in M, X and L sizes, each available plain-muzzle like this one or in the Tactical configuration with a threaded barrel and suppressor-height sights. The X Optic Ready is the full-size version holding 17, and the M Tactical adds the threaded barrel to this same compact frame. Browse the wider handgun catalog. Arex pistols are imported by Global Ordnance.
For practice, 115-grain full metal jacket is the standard load, with a 124-grain jacketed hollow point for defensive use. Spare 15-round magazines are the correct pattern for the M.
A word on the serialized trigger assembly: because the serial number lives on the trigger group rather than the polymer frame, the grip module is an unregulated part. A worn or cracked grip can be replaced without a transfer, and different frame sizes become an option later. It is the same principle behind modular chassis pistols, applied at a considerably lower price. All firearm orders ship to a licensed FFL dealer for transfer, and MAG5 Firearms will coordinate the paperwork with the dealer of your choice.
On holster fit: because the M and the X share the same slide and the same 4-inch barrel, most holsters cut for one will accept the other. What changes between them is grip length, which sits inside the waistband rather than in the holster shell, so a single holster often covers both if you end up owning a pair.
