Description
The Barrett MRADELR Barrel Maker Kit 416 Barrett is the parts package a gunsmith needs to fit a custom barrel to an MRADELR in 416 Barrett. Barrett catalogs it as part number 19552, the EA version, and one point deserves stating plainly up front: there is no barrel in this box. What it supplies are the proprietary Barrett components a barrel blank has to be built around.
The kit contains the barrel extension, the barrel extension jam nut, the matching EA bolt, the extractor, the ejector with its spring and roll pin, a wrench, and an instruction card carrying the machining dimensions. The barrel maker supplies the blank, chambers and threads it to the printed dimensions, then torques it to the extension. That is the whole job.
What Comes in the Barrett MRADELR Barrel Maker Kit 416 Barrett
The barrel extension and jam nut are machined for the EA bolt face and the 416 Barrett case head. These are the components a barrel blank is fitted to, and they are the reason this kit exists rather than a sheet of dimensions a smith would otherwise have to work blind from.
The EA bolt assembly is matched to that extension and arrives with the extractor, the ejector, the ejector spring and the ejector roll pin. A wrench for the extension is included as well, so the torque step is done with the right tool instead of an improvised one.
Last in the box is a printed instruction card with the machining, chamber and headspace dimensions the barrel must be cut to, plus the torque procedure and the thread locking specification for the extension. Build to the card rather than to memory; that single habit prevents most of the problems these builds run into.
Who the Barrett MRADELR Barrel Maker Kit 416 Barrett Is For
416 Barrett is a big, fast cartridge and barrels chambered for it are consumable on a competition schedule. A shooter with a second bolt and extension already fitted to a spare barrel can swap at the bench rather than send the rifle back to a smith and wait.
It is also the only route to a barrel length, contour or maker that Barrett does not catalog. If you want a specific blank from a specific barrel house, this kit is what turns that blank into a headspaced MRADELR barrel.
This is a gunsmithing component rather than a bolt-on accessory. Chambering, threading and headspacing to the supplied numbers require a lathe, the right gauges and the experience to use both. If that is not your shop, send the kit to the smith doing the work.

- Keeps a spare barrel fitted and ready for a bench swap mid season
- Opens up barrel length, contour and maker choices the factory does not list
- Ships with the machining dimensions rather than leaving a smith to guess
Who it suits
This suits the extreme long range competitor running an MRADELR in 416 Barrett hard enough to wear barrels out, and the gunsmith building a custom barrel for a customer. It is not a drop-in part and it is not what you want if you simply need a spare magazine.

Fitting Notes and Ordering for the Barrett MRADELR Barrel Maker Kit 416 Barrett
Build to the instruction card, not to memory. It carries the breech and extension dimensions the blank must be cut to, the chamber and headspace figures, and the torque sequence for the jam nut, and Barrett specifies a thread locking compound on the extension threads. Most problems with these builds trace back to a number that was remembered rather than read.
Watch the bolt family. The EA bolt face and extension in this kit are cut for 416 Barrett. Barrett catalogs a separate EB kit for 375 EnABELR under its own part number, and the two do not interchange. If your rifle is a 375, order that one instead. Commercial chamber and pressure standards are published by SAAMI, though 416 Barrett remains a proprietary Barrett cartridge.
Parts kits ship straight to you with no dealer transfer. If you also need feeding hardware for the finished rifle we stock the Barrett MRADELR five round magazine in 416 Barrett, and the 375 EnABELR barrel maker kit is listed separately. The rest of our inventory sits on the MAG5 Firearms shop page. If you are unsure which Barrett MRADELR Barrel Maker Kit 416 Barrett variant your rifle takes, check the bolt marking or call before ordering.
