Description
The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS is the green reticle carry sized enclosed sight: a 2 MOA dot with a 32 MOA circle at 540nm, sealed emitter, solar backing, 1.23 ounces, and an RMSc to K adapter plate in the box. Part EPS-CARRY-GR-MRS.

Green Is Worth More On A Small Window
The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS emits at 540nm, almost exactly where human daylight vision peaks, so a green reticle reads brighter to your eye than a red one producing the same actual light. On a full size optic that is a nice margin. On a carry sight it is worth more than that.
The window on the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS is 0.77 by 0.58 inches, which is small, and a small window gives your eye less to work with. Anything that makes the reticle easier to acquire is disproportionately useful there, and reticle colour is the cheapest way to buy that. Against brick, rust, timber, brown clothing and dirt, the colours that swallow a red dot, green keeps its separation.
The Honest Counter Argument
Green on the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS is not a free upgrade and we would rather you hear the other half from us. Against grass, foliage and green painted steel, green is the colour that loses contrast and red would serve you better. Red emitters are also more electrically efficient for the same perceived brightness.
So the question is what you point the pistol at, not which colour is superior. The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS is the right answer for warm, mid tone backgrounds. If you shoot mostly at green steel or in heavy foliage, we stock the red version and will point you at it instead.
Enclosed, Because A Carry Gun Collects Things
An open reflex sight, unlike the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS, fires its emitter upward from an exposed shelf at a lens. It works until holster lint, sweat, sunscreen, gun oil or rain lands on that emitter, at which point the reticle dims or dies and you find out at the worst possible moment.
The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS has no exposed emitter. The assembly is sealed inside the housing with glass at both ends, so there is nothing for debris to land on and nothing to wipe before you can trust the dot. That is the single most meaningful durability difference in the pistol optic market, and the reason enclosed sights have taken over carry and duty use.
A Ring In A Carry Window
The received wisdom says the 32 MOA circle in the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS wants more room than a carry sight has. The received wisdom has it backwards.
The hardest part of running a small optic is finding the dot, because a small window punishes any presentation that is not perfect. A ring that nearly fills the glass is impossible to miss and pulls your eye straight to the centre where the dot waits. The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS uses the circle to solve the problem the small window creates, then lets you drop to the bare 2 MOA dot once your draw is grooved. Both come from the same emitter, so switching never needs a re-zero.
Solar, And One Thing It Does Not Have
A solar panel harvests ambient light and will keep the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS running if the CR1620 dies or is removed entirely. The cell is rated 50,000 hours at setting six, Shake Awake sleeps the sight when the pistol is still, and the tray loads from the side so a battery change never disturbs the mounting screws or your zero.
Worth stating plainly: the Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS has manual brightness only, no automatic mode. Holosun fits automatic brightness to some sights in this family and not to this one. On a defensive pistol that is a reasonable trade rather than an omission, because an auto sensor can be fooled by snow, a white wall or a headlight, and manual plus lockout means you set the reticle and it stays exactly where you put it. Eight daylight settings and four night vision settings, with memory recall.
Both Micro Footprints Covered
The Holosun EPS Carry Green MRS mounts directly to a K footprint slide, and Holosun includes an RMSc to K adapter plate. The micro compact world is split between those two cuts and which one your pistol uses is not always obvious from the marketing, so having both covered avoids buying a sight and then waiting on a plate.
One number to check first: adjustments move 1.5 MOA per click across 30 MOA of travel each way, coarser and shorter than the full size 407 and 507 optics. On a true slide cut that is ample. Through a stacked plate on a pistol that already points slightly off it is less headroom than you may expect, so if a previous optic fought you on that gun, mention it before you order.
