Description

The Zastava ZPAP M70 7.62×39 White Camo is a Serbian built AK finished in white camouflage Cerakote, fitted with a side folding stock and a black quad rail handguard. Underneath the winter finish it is the same 1.5mm bulged trunnion M70 that Zastava has been building on military tooling for decades.
Zastava ZPAP M70 7.62×39 White Camo Barrel and Sights
The barrel is 16.3 inches, cold hammer forged and chrome lined. Hammer forging work hardens the bore for a longer service life, and the chrome lining resists the corrosion that surplus and steel case ammunition can bring with it. Between them they are the reason Zastava barrels last.
Sights are the traditional adjustable AK front post and rear tangent leaf. They need no batteries, they work in poor light, and they will survive a fall that would end an optic. The quad rail handguard gives you somewhere to add a light or a laser without losing them.
Receiver, Stock and Controls
The receiver is 1.5mm thick with a bulged front trunnion, the heavier military specification carried over from the M70 service rifle. Most imported AK pattern rifles use a 1mm receiver, and the extra material is why this pattern handles sustained fire and hard use without stretching.
The stock folds to the side, which cuts a great deal of length for transport, storage and vehicle carry. The safety selector includes a bolt hold open notch, a small addition that makes the rifle far easier to clear and to show safe. The bolt is a double stack design running on the long stroke gas piston system.

Why the Folding Stock Changes Things
A folding stock is the single most practical upgrade an AK can have. It drops overall length by roughly nine inches, which makes the rifle fit a discreet case, a truck, a snowmobile box or a pack, and it does it without touching barrel length or sight radius.
Combined with the white Cerakote, the intent here is obvious. This is a rifle set up for winter country and for being carried in a vehicle rather than one built for a bench.
Why Buyers Choose the Zastava ZPAP M70 7.62×39 White Camo
Zastava is one of the very few factories still producing AK pattern rifles on original military tooling rather than reverse engineered drawings. The heavy trunnion, the thicker receiver and the chrome lined hammer forged barrel are military specifications, not commercial approximations, and they show up in how the rifle wears over thousands of rounds.
Adding a folding stock and a rail from the factory also saves money and paperwork against buying a base rifle and converting it, since stock changes on an imported rifle raise compliance questions this one has already answered.
Who Should Buy It
The Zastava ZPAP M70 7.62×39 White Camo suits shooters who need a compact rifle for a vehicle or a pack, hunters and property owners working in snow country, collectors who want a Serbian M70 in an unusual finish, and anyone who wants a rugged 7.62×39 that shortens for storage. Add a light to the rail and it is ready to work.
