Description
The Walther PPK 380 ACP Stainless 6-Round is a 3.3-inch 380 ACP pistol with a 6-round magazine, a stainless steel finish, and black polymer grips. It carries forward one of the most famous pistol designs in history, built in steel by Walther.

Walther PPK 380 ACP Stainless 6-Round Overview
The PPK (Polizeipistole Kriminalmodell, or “police pistol, detective model”) arrived in 1931 as a shorter, more concealable version of the PP. Its compact steel frame, rounded edges, and smooth double-action trigger made it one of the first truly practical concealed-carry pistols, and its place in film history made it one of the most recognizable handguns ever built.
Action and Trigger
Like every PP-family pistol, it uses a straight blowback action with a barrel that is fixed to the frame. That fixed barrel is a big part of why these pistols are so accurate for their size. The trigger is double-action/single-action (SA/DA): the first shot can be fired with a longer, heavier double-action pull, and each shot after that has a short, lighter single-action pull. A slide-mounted safety/decocker lowers the hammer safely, and a loaded-chamber indicator lets you confirm the pistol’s condition by sight or touch.
All-Steel Build
The frame and slide are made of steel, which gives the pistol weight in the right places to soak up recoil. At about 19 ounces unloaded, it feels solid in the hand without being heavy on the belt. The overall size is roughly 6.1 x 1.0 x 4.3 inches, slim enough to disappear under a jacket or untucked shirt.
The 380 ACP Cartridge
The .380 ACP (also called 9mm Kurz or 9mm Short) gives a step up in energy over the .32 ACP while staying mild enough for a small all-steel pistol. It is one of the most popular concealed-carry cartridges in the country, and a wide range of defensive and practice loads are available.
Carry and Use
The PPK is a classic choice for deep concealment, a nightstand pistol, or a collection piece you will actually shoot. Its rounded edges are easy on clothing and holsters, and the slim profile carries comfortably inside or outside the waistband. Many owners pair it with a leather holster for a timeless setup that suits the pistol’s heritage.

Ownership Tips
Break-in is simple: shoot a few boxes of quality full-metal-jacket ammunition before choosing a defensive load, and make sure your carry ammunition feeds reliably. To field-strip, unload the pistol, pull the trigger guard down, pull the slide fully to the rear, lift the back of the slide, and ease it forward off the barrel. Clean the bore and the breech face, wipe down the slide rails, and add a light coat of oil to the rails and the outside of the barrel. Keep spare magazines clean and test them before you carry.
