Trijicon part RM06-C-700673 uses the Type 2 RMR body in matte black anodized forged aluminum. Type 2 brought stronger electronics, an improved battery contact and better adjuster design over the original RMR. The adjustable LED offers 8 brightness levels, including two for night vision devices, plus an automatic mode that reads ambient light, so the dot looks right from dawn to midday.
Choosing the 3.25 MOA Dot
The 3.25 MOA dot is the most popular RMR configuration because it balances speed and precision. It covers under an inch at 25 yards, small enough for accurate shots on a pistol and fine enough for rifle offset use, yet still quick to find during the draw. Controls and Battery
Push buttons on both sides of the housing adjust brightness through 8 settings, including 2 night vision compatible levels and a super-bright setting, toggle between manual and automatic brightness, and power the sight down for storage. Trijicon rates battery life at over 4 years of continuous use at setting 4 of 8. A lockout feature prevents accidental changes, and the sight remembers your last setting.
