Description

The Trailblazer LifeCard 22 LR is a single-shot folding pistol that collapses to roughly the footprint of a stack of credit cards and half an inch thick. Folded, it does not read as a firearm at all. Unfolded, the handle swings down and locks into a full-size grip with a 2.5-inch barrel above it. This is the version with the polymer handle, which stores three spare rounds inside.
Built Around One Idea
Every design decision here serves concealment. There is no slide, no magazine well, no trigger guard sticking out and no sights to catch on a pocket. The profile is smooth on every edge so nothing snags on the way out, and the folded shape slides into a wallet pocket, a shirt pocket or the coin tray of a vehicle without printing.
Trailblazer LifeCard 22 LR Folding Action
The handle pivots on a hinge at the rear of the frame. Swing it down and the pistol locks open, exposing the trigger and putting a real grip in the hand rather than a nub. An integrated safety prevents the gun from firing while it is folded, so it can be carried loaded without the usual anxiety about a pocket pistol with no manual safety. The action is single action: the striker is cocked deliberately before each shot.
Loading and Spare Rounds
The barrel tips up for loading one round at a time, and the polymer handle hides a compartment holding three more .22 LR cartridges. Four rounds total is not a defensive load-out by any modern standard, and the reload is slow, so this is a gun for the situation where nothing else was practical to carry.

Realistic Expectations
This is a last-ditch tool, and understanding that is the key to being happy with one. With no sights and a 2.5-inch barrel, effective range is measured in feet rather than yards. Recoil is negligible, but the grip is thin and the trigger is nothing like a service pistol’s.
What it does better than anything else is exist. A gun in a drawer at home protects nobody. The LifeCard rides in places where a compact semi-auto is simply not going to be carried, which is the entire reason people buy one.
Carrying It
Because the folded shape is flat and rectangular, it carries in places purpose-built holsters were never needed for. A wallet pocket, an inside jacket pocket or a small pouch on a pack strap all work. Several makers offer dedicated LifeCard sleeves that keep the handle from unfolding and give something to index on during the draw, which is worth having if the gun is going to be carried regularly rather than stashed.
Why Buyers Choose the Trailblazer LifeCard 22 LR
Deep concealment is the obvious use, but it is not the only one. Hikers and anglers keep one in a pack for snakes and small game. Backup carriers stash one where a second full-size pistol will not fit. Collectors buy them because there is nothing else quite like the design.
Legally, note that this is a pistol, not a novelty item, and it is regulated as a firearm everywhere. Several states restrict it, so check local law before ordering.
Who Should Buy It
Deep concealment carriers, backup gun users, hikers and campers who want something in a pack, and collectors of unusual designs will find it does exactly what it claims. Anyone looking for a primary defensive handgun should buy a conventional pistol first.
