Description
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 Redline MSR is the dressed up version of Tippmann’s .22 LR AR-15. A red parkerized fluted barrel, a black and red aluminum receiver set and red and black hiveGrips give it a look nothing else in the rimfire aisle matches.
More Than a Paint Job
The barrel is fluted, not just coloured. Flutes cut weight from a 16 inch barrel and add surface area for heat to escape, which matters on a rifle people genuinely shoot hundreds of rounds through in an afternoon.
The muzzle is threaded, so a rimfire suppressor or a muzzle device fits directly. A .22 can on a 16 inch barrel is about as quiet as shooting gets, and it is the single most popular reason buyers look for a threaded rimfire.
Tippmann Arms M4-22 Redline MSR Receivers and Handguard
Both receivers are aluminum and mil-spec compatible, so AR-15 stocks, grips, optics and sights fit directly. The black and red anodising is applied to the aluminum rather than painted on top of it, and a full length Picatinny rail runs across the flat top.
The free float M-LOK handguard mounts bipods, lights and hand stops directly without bolt-on rail sections, keeping the front end slim and the barrel free of contact.
Furniture and Capacity
An adjustable CAR15 polymer stock on a standard buffer tube sets length of pull for any shooter. The grips are TK AR15 hiveGrips in red and black, a textured honeycomb pattern that gives a positive hold and ties the colour scheme together.
Capacity is 25+1 from Tippmann’s own steel lipped magazine, and spares are cheap enough to buy several, which is what a high volume rimfire really needs.

Ammunition and Accuracy
Blowback rimfire actions want copper plated high velocity ammunition rather than the cheapest bulk lead round nose. CCI Mini-Mag, Federal Automatch and similar loads cycle consistently and group noticeably tighter, and the difference is obvious by 50 yards. With decent ammunition and a red dot most shooters stay on a soda can well beyond that.
Training Value
Round count is the real argument for a rimfire AR. Five hundred rounds of .22 costs less than one box of match centrefire ammunition, so reloads, malfunction drills and position work stop being something you ration and start being something you actually practise.
Why Buyers Choose the Tippmann Arms M4-22 Redline MSR
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 Redline MSR is the one people notice on the rack. It keeps everything that makes the M4-22 worth owning, adds a fluted threaded barrel and finishes it in a colour scheme that does not look aftermarket, because it is not.
Who Should Buy It
AR owners who want a distinctive trainer, suppressor owners looking for a host, and competitive rimfire shooters who appreciate a lighter fluted barrel. It also works as a small game and pest rifle around a property.
Be realistic about the limits. Rimfire semi-autos are ammunition sensitive, no optic or sights are included, and a red and black rifle is a statement rather than a low profile tool. Twenty two Long Rifle remains a small game cartridge.
Spare magazines and a Tippmann speed loader are listed alongside the rest of our firearms selection. Manufacturer documentation is available from Tippmann Arms.
Every firearm we list ships to your chosen FFL and is transferred there after a background check.
