Description
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 LTE Purple pairs the lightweight LTE build with a purple M-LOK handguard and a matching purple Gen2 grip against a matte black aluminum receiver. It runs a 16 inch black parkerized threaded barrel and holds 25+1.
Where the LTE Sits in the Line
LTE means lightweight. Tippmann trims mass from the receiver set and furniture without dropping to a polymer frame, so the rifle keeps the aluminum construction and mil-spec compatibility that define the M4-22 family.
Because the receivers are mil-spec, AR-15 stocks, grips, optics and sights fit directly and the controls sit exactly where a centrefire shooter expects them. Every drill you run here transfers to a service rifle at a fraction of the ammunition cost.
Tippmann Arms M4-22 LTE Purple Barrel and Handguard
The barrel is 16 inches with a black parkerized finish and a threaded muzzle, ready for a rimfire suppressor or a muzzle device. Suppressed .22 out of a 16 inch barrel is about as quiet as shooting gets, which is the main reason threaded rimfires sell.
The purple M-LOK handguard sits over a composite forend and takes bipods, lights and hand stops directly, with no bolt-on rail sections. The flat top receiver carries a full length Picatinny rail for optics.
Furniture and Capacity
The stock is black polymer and the grip is a purple Gen2 on the standard AR-15 interface, so it can be swapped for anything you already like. The purple anodising is applied to the aluminum rather than sprayed on top of it, so it holds up to handling.
Capacity is 25+1 from Tippmann’s own steel lipped magazine. Spares are cheap enough to buy several, which is what a high volume rimfire actually needs.

Ammunition and Accuracy
Blowback rimfire actions want copper plated high velocity ammunition rather than the cheapest bulk lead round nose. CCI Mini-Mag, Federal Automatch and similar loads cycle consistently and group noticeably tighter, and the difference is obvious by 50 yards. With decent ammunition and a red dot most shooters stay on a soda can well beyond that.
Training Value
Round count is the real argument for a rimfire AR. Five hundred rounds of .22 costs less than one box of match centrefire ammunition, so reloads, malfunction drills and position work stop being something you ration and start being something you actually practise.
Why Buyers Choose the Tippmann Arms M4-22 LTE Purple
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 LTE Purple is an aluminum, threaded barrel rimfire AR that does not look like everything else on the rack. The colour is anodised into the parts rather than added afterwards, so it is a finish rather than a paint job.
Who Should Buy It
Shooters who want a distinctive trainer, new gun owners learning the AR platform, and suppressor owners looking for a quiet host. It also works well as a small game and pest rifle around a property.
Be clear about the limits. Rimfire ammunition is more sensitive to quality than centrefire, no sights or optic are included, and .22 LR is a small game cartridge rather than a defensive one.
Spare magazines and a Tippmann speed loader are listed alongside the rest of our firearms selection. Manufacturer documentation is available from Tippmann Arms.
