Action and Barrel
Out of the box you get a 28-inch ventilated rib barrel with a bead sight for hunting and clays, and an 18.5-inch security barrel for home defense. Both mount to the same receiver, and changing them takes nothing more than unscrewing the magazine cap. Dual slide bars and a rotary bolt keep the action smooth, and the bottom-loading tube holds five shells plus one in the chamber.
Stock and Fit
The Stevens 320 Field Combo 12 Gauge wears a black synthetic stock and fore-end. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. A recoil pad at the butt softens felt recoil and keeps the stock from slipping on your shoulder. Care and Cleaning
Cleaning is simple. After each outing, run a bore brush and patches through the barrel and wipe down the choke tube threads, wipe the metal with a light coat of gun oil, and check that the action is free of dirt and debris. Remove and clean the choke tubes regularly, and put a little choke tube lube on the threads so they do not seize. The synthetic stock needs nothing more than a wipe with a damp cloth.
