Description
The Sig Sauer P365X Romeo RS is the configuration most people should have bought in the first place: a micro-compact carry gun with the red dot already mounted and zeroed at the factory. MAG5 Firearms stocks it with a 3.1-inch barrel, a twelve-round magazine and the wider X-grip that makes the P365X easier to shoot than the original.
What the X Frame Adds
The P365X keeps the 3.1-inch slide of the original but uses the longer XL grip module. That extra grip length gives most hands a full three-finger purchase and raises standard capacity from ten rounds to twelve, without adding anything to the part of the pistol that actually prints under a shirt.
Concealment is governed by slide length and grip length in different ways. Slide length affects printing at the belt line; grip length affects printing at the top of the holster, where a slightly longer grip is easy to cover. The Sig Sauer P365X Romeo RS takes advantage of that asymmetry.
The Sig Sauer P365X Romeo RS Included Optic
Buying a pistol and a dot separately means researching footprints, ordering a plate that may not fit, and often finding that the irons no longer line up. None of that applies here. The ROMEO-RS Compact sits on a factory Shield RMSc cut with no adapter.
The RS is designed for carry rather than competition. The housing is compact enough not to snag on a cover garment, the battery life is long, and the window is sized so the dot is easy to pick up on the draw.

Shooting the Sig Sauer P365X Romeo RS With a Dot
A 3.1-inch barrel gives a sight radius under five inches, which is the hardest configuration to shoot accurately with iron sights. A red dot removes the alignment problem entirely, and the improvement in practical accuracy is larger here than on any full-size gun.
Most shooters cut their time to first hit measurably within one range session, and the advantage widens in low light where a front sight is hard to find at all.
Carry, Rail and Holsters
An accessory rail on the dust cover takes a compact weapon light, which turns the pistol into a credible home defense gun when it is not on the belt.
Holster support for the Sig Sauer P365X Romeo RS is excellent, with kydex available cut for the optic and for light-bearing setups. Because the slide matches the standard P365, many holsters interchange between the two.
Magazines and Availability
Twelve-round magazines are standard, and fifteen-round extended magazines are widely available where capacity permits. Spares are inexpensive and consistently in stock.
