Seventeen rounds used to mean a duty-size pistol and a duty-size holster. SIG reworked the magazine stack and grip geometry for the XMacro so that capacity fits a frame just over an inch wide, and the Sig Sauer P365 XMacro Comp 2A carries the way a compact does.

What the Integral Compensator Changes
