Description
Sellier and Bellot 20ga 2 Buck ammunition from Sellier & Bellot (Hunting) puts 1 oz of 12 pellets of #2 buckshot in a 2-5/8 inch 20 Gauge shell. Each box holds 25 shells.
Built for Buckshot Performance
This load puts 12 pellets of #2 buckshot in a 2-5/8 inch 20 Gauge shell, a combination used for deer hunting where buckshot is allowed and for home defense.
Buckshot pellets are large lead balls. Each pellet carries much more energy than birdshot, which makes buckshot effective at close range but also means you must know what is behind your target.
Pattern Sellier and Bellot 20ga 2 Buck through your own shotgun at the distances you expect to shoot. Spread varies with barrel and choke, and knowing your pattern is part of using buckshot responsibly.

Buckshot Tips
Use Sellier and Bellot 20ga 2 Buck only in shotguns chambered for 2-5/8 inch or longer 20 Gauge shells.
Pattern this load at 10, 15 and 25 yards to understand the spread.
Know your target and what is beyond it; buckshot pellets can penetrate walls.
Check state regulations before using buckshot for hunting.
Sellier and Bellot 20ga 2 Buck is a dependable choice for shooters who want a ready-made buckshot from a known maker.
Hunting use
Where legal, buckshot is used for deer in thick cover at short ranges. Keep shots close for clean harvests.
Home defense considerations
Practice with your defensive load, store it safely and learn the self-defense laws in your state.
Recoil
Full-power buckshot recoils hard. A good gun fit and practice help you shoot it accurately.
Reading the box
The box lists the gauge, shell length, shot charge and shot size. Always match the shell to the gauge and chamber length stamped on your firearm, and never fire ammunition that is not specified for your firearm.
About Sellier & Bellot
Sellier and Bellot 20ga 2 Buck comes from Sellier & Bellot, and the specifications listed here follow the maker’s and our distributor’s published data for this item. Compare loads by shot size, shot charge and velocity to find the best fit for your firearm.
Buying the right amount
When you find a load that performs well, buy enough for practice and the full season at once. Ammunition from the same lot tends to perform the same, which keeps your results consistent.
Safety first
Always treat every firearm as loaded, keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. Wear eye and ear protection every time you shoot.
Understanding shot size
Smaller shot numbers mean larger pellets. Larger pellets carry more energy at distance but give fewer pellets in the pattern, while smaller pellets fill the pattern but lose energy sooner. Match the shot size to the game and the distance.
Choosing the right load
Start with the job you need the ammunition to do, whether that is hunting, target shooting or practice. Then match the load to that job, and finally test a few boxes in your own firearm, because every barrel has its preferences.
