Description
The Seekins Element M3 277 Fury is one of the very few bolt action hunting rifles chambered in the cartridge the US Army adopted as its next-generation service round. It runs a 20 inch carbon fiber wrapped threaded barrel, a stainless steel receiver with an integrated 20 MOA rail and bubble level, and a Seekins carbon composite mini chassis stock in Urban Shadow camo with an adjustable cheek riser.
Seekins Element M3 277 Fury and the Cartridge
277 Fury, known in military service as 6.8x51mm, uses a hybrid case with a stainless steel base joined to a brass body. That construction lets it run at roughly 80,000 psi, far beyond what a conventional brass case can safely contain, and the result is velocity that would normally require a much larger cartridge.
For a hunter that means .277 caliber bullets moving considerably faster than a 270 Winchester from a short action and a 20 inch barrel. It is a genuinely modern piece of engineering rather than a repackaged wildcat, and it delivers magnum-class performance without magnum length or a long action.
Action, Integrated Rail, and Bubble Level
The M3 action is an aluminum and steel hybrid, which is how the rifle stays under seven pounds while handling a very high pressure cartridge. The scope base is machined as part of the receiver rather than bolted on, eliminating the most common cause of zero shift, and it carries 20 MOA of built-in elevation so more scope adjustment stays available for distance.
A bubble level is machined into that rail. Cant costs you windage at long range, and a level sitting in your sight picture gets checked before a shot, unlike one clamped to a scope ring that you have to break position to read.
Barrel, Brake, and Stock
The barrel is carbon fiber wrapped and threaded 5/8×24 with a Seekins Hunter Brake fitted. Carbon wrapping keeps the barrel stiff and helps shed the considerable heat a high-pressure cartridge generates while keeping weight off the front of the rifle. Twenty inches is the right length for 277 Fury, which was designed around short barrels from the outset.
The stock is Seekins carbon composite built around a mini chassis rather than conventional bedding, giving repeatable action fit inside something that still carries like a hunting rifle. Urban Shadow is the grey and orange pattern, suited to rock and open country. The cheek riser adjusts, and the trigger is a TriggerTech Primary set at 2.5 pounds.

Why Buyers Choose the Seekins Element M3 277 Fury
It is a rare chance to hunt with a cartridge built on genuinely new case technology. 277 Fury delivers performance from a 20 inch barrel that a conventional cartridge would need far more length to match, and pairing it with a sub-seven-pound carbon-barreled rifle is exactly the application that benefits.
The supporting features make that performance usable. An integrated 20 MOA rail, a bubble level, an adjustable comb, and a genuine TriggerTech trigger are what let you take advantage of the ballistics rather than simply owning them.
Who Should Buy It
The Seekins Element M3 277 Fury suits hunters who want a short, light rifle with reach for deer, antelope, and elk, and shooters interested in owning the cartridge the military selected. The short barrel also makes it a sensible suppressor host. Be aware that 277 Fury ammunition is more expensive and less widely stocked than conventional hunting cartridges, so if inexpensive practice or easy resupply matters most, a 6.5 Creedmoor or 7mm Rem Mag version of this rifle will suit you better.
