Savage Axis 2 Pro Camo LH 6mm ARC 20 Overview
The Axis II Pro builds on the Axis II with upgrades like a threaded heavy barrel and improved stock, giving hunters more features for the money. This version is the Axis 2 Pro in left hand.
Action and AccuTrigger
The bolt action is left handed and feeds from a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds. The AccuTrigger lets you adjust the pull weight yourself, from about 2.5 lbs (40 ounces) to 6 lbs (96 ounces), and its AccuRelease blade helps prevent accidental discharge.
Barrel
The 20″ carbon steel barrel has a heavy sporter threaded contour and a 1:7.5″ twist, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for a brake or suppressor where legal. Savage button rifles its barrels and headspaces them with a barrel nut, which is a big part of its reputation for accuracy.
Stock and Fit
The camouflage synthetic sporter has a length of pull from 13.75″ (34.93 cm) to 13″ (33.02 cm).
Optics
The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Pick a quality scope that suits the ranges you hunt.
