Description
The Savage 110 Ultralite Pro Western 6.5 PRC is a bolt-action centerfire rifle with a 20-inch carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel, a Savage Western camo AccuFit V2 stock, a 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, and a user-adjustable trigger. It weighs about 6.78 lbs and is built for accurate, dependable hunting.
Savage 110 Ultralite Pro Western 6.5 PRC Overview
The 110 Ultralite Pro is Savage’s lightest, most refined 110 hunting rifle, pairing a carbon fiber barrel with a diamond-fluted bolt and skeletonized receiver for mountain hunters who count every ounce. The 6.5 PRC is a short-action magnum that drives long, high-BC 6.5mm bullets fast and flat, giving you excellent reach on deer, sheep, and elk with recoil that stays manageable.
Barrel and Action
The 20-inch barrel is a stainless steel core wrapped in carbon fiber for stiffness at a fraction of the weight of steel, with a 1:8 twist matched to long 6.5 PRC bullets. It comes threaded with an Omniport muzzle brake that tames recoil so you can watch your hits. The diamond-fluted, Blackout Cerakote bolt with a threaded handle and skeletonized receiver trim weight and cycle smoothly.
Stock and Fit
The AccuFit V2 stock in Savage Western camo lets you dial in length of pull from 12.75 to 13.75 inches and swap interchangeable grip modules for a perfect fit. M-Lok panels make it easy to add a bipod, and a LimbSaver recoil pad cuts felt recoil by up to 50 percent.
Optics Ready
A one-piece 20 MOA rail comes installed, adding built-in elevation so your scope has more adjustment for long shots across canyons and open country.
User-Adjustable Trigger
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set your own pull weight for a crisp, clean break with no creep. A light, predictable trigger makes a big difference when you are holding steady on a distant target, and the center safety blade helps prevent accidental discharge.
Magazine and Handling
The 3-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine loads easily and seats securely, and extra AICS magazines are widely available.
In the Field
Spend time at the range shooting from field positions such as sitting, kneeling, and off shooting sticks or a tripod, and you will be ready when the moment comes. Pair the rifle with a quality scope and premium 6.5 PRC ammunition, confirm your zero before each season, and you will have a dependable rifle that makes ethical, accurate shots.
Care and Cleaning
A little routine care keeps the Savage 110 Ultralite Pro Western 6.5 PRC running smoothly and shooting accurately for years. After each outing, wipe down exposed metal, run a few patches through the bore, and keep the bolt lightly lubricated. Store the rifle in a dry place, check that the action screws stay snug, and recheck your zero before each season.
