Description
The Savage 110 Pro Pursuit 300 PRC is a bolt-action centerfire rifle with a 20-inch stainless steel barrel, a natural camo synthetic stock, a 3-round detachable magazine, and a user-adjustable trigger. It weighs about 7.4 lbs.
Savage 110 Pro Pursuit 300 PRC Overview
The 110 Pro Pursuit is built for hunters who want magnum reach in a rifle that still carries well, with a stainless receiver finished in OD Green Cerakote, a fluted Blackout Cerakote bolt, an adjustable stock, and a 20 MOA rail for long-range optics. The 300 PRC is a long-action magnum built around long, high-BC bullets, giving elk, moose, and long-range hunters plenty of energy and a flat trajectory at extended distances.
Barrel and Action
The 20-inch stainless steel barrel has a od green cerakote finish and a 1:8″ twist matched to 300 PRC bullets. Stainless steel adds corrosion resistance for wet weather. The muzzle is threaded for a muzzle device or suppressor where local law allows; suppressors are NFA items that require an approved ATF Form 4. An OmniPort muzzle brake comes installed to tame recoil; expect noticeably more muzzle blast with the brake, so wear good hearing protection.
Stock and Fit
The natural camo synthetic stock is built to handle real-world use, and synthetic material will not swell or warp in rain or humidity. Overall length is about 42.25″.
Sights and Optics
Scope bases (1 Piece, 20 MOA) come installed, so mounting an optic is quick and simple.
Trigger
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set your own pull weight for a crisp, clean break, and the center safety blade helps prevent accidental discharge. A light, predictable trigger makes accurate shooting much easier.
Capacity and Handling
The 3-round detachable magazine loads easily and makes unloading quick and safe. Spare magazines make range days more productive.
In the Field
Spend time at the range shooting from field positions and confirm your zero before each season, and you will have a dependable rifle that makes ethical, accurate shots.
Ownership and Value
A dependable rifle is an investment that pays off every season. Savage rifles are known for accuracy that punches above their price, and the brand has a long track record with hunters across North America. Scope mounts, magazines, and accessories are easy to find, and the rifle will serve you well for years with basic care.
Setting Up Your Rifle
Choose a scope that matches your hunting distances, mount it in quality rings with the correct torque, and set eye relief carefully, since magnum recoil punishes a scope mounted too far back. Zero at 100 or 200 yards with the exact load you plan to hunt with, confirm your drops at longer ranges, and practice from field positions so you can place shots confidently when it counts.
Care and Cleaning
A little routine care keeps the Savage 110 Pro Pursuit 300 PRC running smoothly. After each outing, wipe down exposed metal, clean the bore, keep moving parts lightly lubricated, and store the gun in a dry place.
