Description
The Savage 110 Carbon Hunter 7mm PRC is a bolt-action centerfire rifle with a 20-inch 0.936″ bull barrel carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel, a flat dark gray synthetic stock, a 2-round detachable magazine, and a user-adjustable trigger. It weighs about 6.96 lbs.
Savage 110 Carbon Hunter 7mm PRC Overview
Savage has built a reputation for accurate, dependable firearms at fair prices, and the 110 Carbon Hunter continues that tradition with practical features that matter in the field and at the range. It is the kind of gun that earns a permanent place in the safe because it simply works, shot after shot, without fuss or expensive upgrades. The 7mm PRC is a modern magnum built around long, high-BC bullets, delivering flat trajectories and hard-hitting energy for elk, mule deer, and other big game at extended range.
Barrel and Action
The 20-inch 0.936″ bull barrel carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel has a matte finish and a 1:8″ twist matched to 7mm PRC bullets. The heavier profile steadies the rifle and resists heat for tight groups from a rest. Stainless steel adds corrosion resistance for wet weather. The carbon fiber wrap trims weight while keeping the barrel stiff. The muzzle is threaded for a muzzle device or suppressor where local law allows; suppressors are NFA items that require an approved ATF Form 4.
Stock and Fit
The flat dark gray synthetic stock is built to handle real-world use, and synthetic material will not swell or warp in rain or humidity. Length of pull is 12.75″ to 13.75″ adjustable. Overall length is about 41.11″.
Sights and Optics
Scope bases (1 Piece, 0 MOA) come installed, so mounting an optic is quick and simple.
Trigger
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set your own pull weight for a crisp, clean break, and the center safety blade helps prevent accidental discharge. A light, predictable trigger makes accurate shooting much easier.
Capacity and Handling
The 2-round detachable magazine loads easily and makes unloading quick and safe. Spare magazines make range days more productive.
In the Field
Spend time at the range shooting from field positions and confirm your zero before each season, and you will have a dependable rifle that makes ethical, accurate shots.
