The Ruger RXM 9mm takes the familiar polymer striker-fired formula and makes it genuinely modular. A removable stainless steel fire control insert drops into an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, so the part of the pistol that fits your hand can be swapped without buying a whole new gun. This flat dark earth configuration adds a 4.5-inch threaded barrel and a tritium front night sight.
What Makes the Ruger RXM 9mm Different
Most pistols in this class ask you to choose a grip size at the counter and live with it. The Ruger RXM 9mm instead separates the serialized fire control insert from the grip frame, letting Ruger and Magpul release new grip modules over time. The frame material is alloy steel inside a polymer shell, the magazine well is low profile and flared, and the magazine catch is extended for fast reloads. A scalloped magazine release cut and an undercut, beavertail trigger guard round out a frame that simply gets out of the way.
Threaded Barrel and Suppressor Ready
The 4.5-inch barrel is precision rifled with a 1-in-10 right hand twist and threaded one-half by 28 TPI, so a compensator or suppressor mounts directly. That extra half inch over the standard model also stretches sight radius slightly and adds a little weight up front, which helps the Ruger RXM 9mm track flatter in rapid strings. Overall length is 7.65 inches and weight is a very carryable 23.6 ounces.
Optic Ready Slide with Co-Witness Sights
The slide wears a black FNC nitride finish and is cut for direct mounting of RMR, Delta Point Pro and RMSc pattern optics, so most popular red dots bolt on without an adapter plate. Steel co-witness height sights include a tritium front night sight and a drift adjustable rear, meaning the Ruger RXM 9mm still gives you a usable sight picture if the dot goes dark. Front cocking serrations make press checks easy.

Who Should Buy It
Buyers who like to tinker will get the most out of this pistol. If you already run Glock pattern holsters and magazines, the Ruger RXM 9mm slots straight into your existing gear while giving you a nicer trigger, night sights and a threaded barrel out of the box. It is a duty-size gun, so deep concealment under light clothing takes work, and the FDE grip module will not match every accessory finish.
