Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle 17+1 4 in. Black – Superb Optic-Ready Package

Description

The Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle is the packaged version of a pistol that arrived without much fanfare and has been quietly winning people over. A four-inch match-grade barrel, a seventeen-round magazine, an optic-ready slide and a Picatinny rail, in a compact frame that carries like a Glock 19 and costs less.

Rost Martin is a newer name than most on this page, and the RM1C is the gun the company was built around. The Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle adds a padded case and spare magazines to the package, which is how most people end up buying a pistol anyway.

The pistol underneath the bundle

• A four-inch match-grade barrel, which is not a phrase most makers use at this price point.
• Seventeen rounds in a compact frame, which is the Glock 19 footprint and the most useful size class there is.
• An optic-ready slide with serrations front and rear, so a dot goes on without milling.
• A Picatinny rail molded into the frame for a light.
• Ambidextrous controls and a textured grip, with a black Nitron finish on the slide.

What a bundle is worth

• The distributor photograph shows the pistol in a padded case alongside spare magazines, which is the practical value of buying a package rather than a bare gun.
• Spare magazines are the purchase everyone forgets and then makes within a month, so having them in the box is real money saved.
• A case matters more than people expect: it is how the pistol travels legally in a vehicle in most states.
• We will confirm the exact bundle contents with the distributor before we ship, because bundle configurations change without the part number changing.
• If you would rather buy the pistol bare and choose your own accessories, the standard RM1C is also in stock.

9mm Luger chamber and pressure limits are published by SAAMI, and the Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle is not fussy about factory ammunition. Federal American Eagle 115 gr FMJ is the sensible practice load and Hornady Critical Defense 115 gr FTX the carry option to confirm in the gun before you rely on it.

Rost Martin sells its own magazines, which is worth knowing because this is not a Glock-pattern gun: a 17-round Rost Martin magazine is the standard spare, a 19-round extended adds two with a baseplate, and a 10-round covers capacity-restricted states.

Elsewhere in the range, the RM1C Comp adds a compensator, the gray RM1C optic-ready bundle is the same package in another color, and the RM1S is the shorter-barreled version.

Why the Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle earns its place

• A match-grade barrel at a price where most makers fit a plain one.
• Seventeen rounds in the most useful size class in handguns.
• Optic-ready and rail-equipped as standard, so nothing needs machining.
• A case and spare magazines included, which is money most buyers spend anyway.
• A newer maker trying harder than the established names, which usually shows in the specification.

Be realistic about the trade. Rost Martin is a young company, so the aftermarket is thinner than it is for a Glock or an M&P: fewer holsters off the shelf, fewer trigger kits, fewer people at the range who have shot one. Magazines come from Rost Martin rather than from everyone.

What you get in exchange is a genuinely well-specified pistol for the money, and a bundle that removes the first three purchases you would otherwise make. If you value specification over ecosystem, the Rost Martin RM1C 9mm Bundle is a lot of gun.
