Description
The POF-USA Rogue Prescott 6.5 Creedmoor is a direct impingement large frame rifle built on Patriot Ordnance Factory’s lightweight Rogue platform. A 20 inch match grade barrel, a 14.5 inch Renegade M-LOK rail and a straight match trigger put it at seven pounds, which is remarkable for a 6.5 Creedmoor semi-automatic.
The Rogue Platform
POF built the Rogue to close the weight gap between AR-15 and AR-10 sized rifles. Seven pounds bare is lighter than plenty of 5.56 carbines, and it comes from machining rather than from thinning the barrel to the point where accuracy suffers.
The receiver set carries POF’s patented E2 dual extraction technology, a flared magazine well for faster reloads and ambidextrous safety and charging handle. It runs a rifle length gas system on a low profile gas block, which keeps the pressure curve gentle and the rifle soft shooting.
POF-USA Rogue Prescott 6.5 Creedmoor Barrel and Rail
The barrel measures 20 inches with 5R rifling at a 1:8 twist, which is exactly what 6.5 Creedmoor wants for the 140 to 147 grain bullets that make the cartridge worth shooting. 5R rifling uses angled lands that reduce bullet deformation and foul less than conventional cut rifling.
A Micro-B muzzle brake sits at the muzzle, and the 14.5 inch Renegade M-LOK rail runs almost to it. The rail attaches through POF’s patented heat sink barrel nut, which pulls heat out of the chamber area rather than trapping it under the handguard.
Trigger, Stock and Controls
Trigger duty falls to a straight match grade unit rather than a mil-spec trigger with a nicer label. Combined with a 20 inch match barrel it is what makes the rifle capable of the accuracy its price implies.
The stock is a Luth-AR MBA-4 on an anti-tilt buffer tube, adjustable for both length of pull and comb height, which matters as soon as you put a large objective scope on the rifle. The grip is an MFT polymer unit.
Ammunition and Range
Match loads in 140 to 147 grain are where a 1:8 twist 6.5 Creedmoor shines, and a 20 inch barrel gives up very little velocity to the 24 inch bolt guns the cartridge was designed around. Expect the round to stay supersonic past 1,200 yards in most conditions, and to hit hard enough for elk and deer inside normal hunting distances.

Why Buyers Choose the POF-USA Rogue Prescott 6.5 Creedmoor
The POF-USA Rogue Prescott 6.5 Creedmoor is one of the few large frame semi-autos you can carry all day. Seven pounds with a 20 inch match barrel and a real trigger is a combination that usually requires either a heavier rifle or a shorter barrel, and POF gets there without either compromise.
Who Should Buy It
Long range shooters who want a semi-automatic, hunters carrying a rifle into rough country, and anyone who has decided that a ten pound AR-10 is more gun than they want to walk with. The rifle length gas system and adjustable stock also suit precision practice at distance.
Be clear on the trade-offs. Light large frame rifles heat up faster than heavy ones, so this is not a rifle for long strings from a bench. No optic, rings or bases are included, and the price sits well above a conventional AR-10.
