Description
The NAA Sidewinder Conversion Holster Grip (model NAA-SWC-HG) is the convertible version of North American Arms’ swing-out-cylinder mini revolver. It ships with a 22 WMR cylinder and a 22 LR cylinder, a 1-1/8 inch barrel and the folding holster grip, as a Lipsey’s special run.

NAA Sidewinder Conversion Holster Grip Overview
The second cylinder is the reason to choose this model. You can carry 22 Magnum for more energy, then swap to 22 LR for cheap, quiet practice that builds skill with a gun that otherwise punishes your hand. The Sidewinder’s cylinder swings out to the side for loading, so the whole cylinder assembly is also easy to exchange. The revolver is all stainless steel, about 6.2 ounces and 6.31 inches long with the holster grip.
Two Cylinders, One Tiny Revolver
Each cylinder holds five rounds. Keep them clearly separated, and never put 22 LR in the magnum cylinder or 22 WMR in the LR cylinder. The 22 LR cylinder makes range time cheap and lets you shoot many more rounds before your hand tires. When you change cylinders, check that the new one locks up and indexes before loading.

Holster Grip in Use
Folded, the black holster grip covers the trigger and clips to a pocket. Unfolded, it gives you a full grip that is much easier to control than NAA’s small wood stocks. Practice deploying it, because that extra step takes time. It also makes the package thicker than a bare mini revolver, so try it in the pocket you plan to use.
Single Action Only
The Sidewinder is single action: you cock the spur hammer for each shot, and the spur trigger has no guard. NAA cuts a notch between chambers so the hammer can rest safely off a live round, which lets you carry all five. Read NAA’s manual and practice lowering the hammer into a notch with an unloaded gun until it is second nature.

Where It Fits
This is a backup gun or deep-concealment option, not a duty pistol. A five-shot rimfire with a slow reload has real limits, and very short barrels reduce velocity for both cartridges. Pick ammunition made for short barrels and confirm 100 percent ignition in your revolver before carrying it.
Care and Warranty
Stainless steel tolerates pocket sweat well, but lint and rimfire fouling collect quickly. Brush the cylinder face, chambers and the area behind the cylinder after each range trip. North American Arms offers a lifetime warranty and is known for responsive customer service.
State Laws and Ownership
Handgun laws vary by state and city. Some places require a permit or license to buy any handgun, others keep rosters that may leave out special run models, and carry rules for very small revolvers differ. Ask your receiving FFL to confirm the transfer before ordering.
