Kimber 2K11 Pro Comp Royal Overview
The 2K11 is the Kimber take on the high capacity double stack 1911, built one gun at a time by skilled technicians. The Pro Comp is the competition and carry crossover of the line: Pro length for handling, an integrated compensator to flatten recoil, and an optic ready slide. Kimber calls it the flattest shooting and highest performing competition handgun it has built.
Integrated Compensator
Instead of a bolt on comp, the ports are machined into the slide and barrel so they line up as one piece. Gas vents upward to push the muzzle down, so the dot or front sight returns to the target faster for follow up shots. Comps add muzzle blast and some extra cleaning, and you should avoid shooting from a retention position close to your body.
Barrel and Slide
The 4.25 inch stainless barrel is fluted, ramped and finished in black DLC, with 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist. The stainless slide has an external extractor, custom 2K11 front and rear serrations and a bronze PVD finish. Optic Ready Sights
