The Holosun Ronin EPS Carry Green MRS is the Ronin-styled version of Holosun’s enclosed carry optic, pairing a sealed emitter with a green circle-dot Multi-Reticle System. It is sized for slim carry pistols and adds the Ronin series’ distinctive machined lines.
Holosun Ronin EPS Carry Green MRS Overview
Holosun part RONIN-EPS-CARRY-GR-MRS uses a 7075-T6 aluminum housing, 1.63 by 1.07 by 0.95 inches and 1.23 ounces, with a 0.77 by 0.58 inch window. The emitter is fully enclosed behind glass, so lint, sweat and rain cannot block the 540nm green LED. Adjustments are 1.5 MOA per click with plus or minus 30 MOA of travel. Deck height is low enough for many factory irons to co-witness.
Circle-Dot on a Carry Optic
The MRS switches between a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or both. On a small carry window, the circle-dot is especially useful because the ring is easy to pick up even when the dot is not perfectly centered during a hurried draw. The dot alone is better for precise shots and zeroing.
Battery and Controls
The battery slides out of a side tray, so changing it never disturbs zero. Holosun rates life at up to 50,000 hours on setting 6. Shake Awake sleeps the LED when the pistol is still and wakes it on movement. There are 8 daylight and 4 night vision settings with memory and lockout. Holosun’s page is inconsistent about solar backup on this model, so we do not claim it.
Mounting
The optic mounts directly to the K footprint used by the 407K and 507K, and Holosun includes an RMSc adapter plate plus three sets of screws. Factory MOS and other cuts may need a separate plate, so confirm your slide first. Use thread locker and torque to spec.
Ronin vs Standard EPS Carry
Optically and electronically, the Ronin version mirrors the standard EPS Carry MRS. The difference is the Ronin series’ aggressive machined styling, which some owners prefer on custom or two-tone pistols. If appearance does not matter, the standard EPS Carry offers the same performance.
Considerations
A small enclosed window rewards consistent presentation, so practice your draw. The box is a little taller than open micro dots, which affects holster fit. Holosun shares angle photos across the Ronin EPS Carry colors, so gallery images show the red version of this identical housing; the main image shows this green model.
