The EPS Carry seals its LED behind front and rear glass, so lint, sweat and rain cannot block the dot the way they can on an open emitter. The 7075 aluminum body weighs just 1.23 ounces and measures 1.63 by 1.07 by 0.95 inches, with a 0.77 by 0.58 inch window. Deck height is low enough that many factory irons co-witness, and a rear notch on the housing serves as an emergency aiming reference.

Why Gold on a Carry Gun

Gold sits at roughly 590nm, between red and green. For many shooters with astigmatism, a red dot blooms into a smear or starburst while gold looks round and crisp. It also contrasts well against both indoor backgrounds and green outdoor scenes. Small Dot, Big Precision

A 2 MOA dot covers about half an inch at 25 yards, letting you hold precisely on small targets. Battery and Controls

Shake Awake sleeps the LED when the gun is still and wakes it the instant it moves. There are 8 daylight and 4 night vision settings, brightness memory and a lockout that stops the buttons from being bumped in a holster.

Plates and Fitment

The sight mounts directly to the K footprint used by the Holosun 407K and 507K, and Holosun includes an RMSc adapter plate for slides cut to that pattern. Factory MOS slides and some other cuts need a dedicated plate sold separately, so confirm your slide before ordering. Use thread locker and torque screws to the plate maker’s spec.

Trade-Offs

The compact window is less forgiving than a full-size optic, and the enclosed box sits a little taller than open micro dots, which affects holster fit.
