Holosun built the EPS Carry around slim slides such as the Glock 43X MOS, Glock 48 MOS and SIG P365 series. The body is 7075 T6 aluminum, the window is 0.77 by 0.58 inches and the whole sight weighs just 1.23 ounces, so it barely changes how the gun carries. Deck height sits low enough that many factory irons co-witness through the glass, and a notch on the rear of the housing gives you a crude backup aim point if the electronics ever fail.
Why Choose the 6 MOA Dot
A 6 MOA dot is roughly three times the size of a 2 MOA dot, so your eye catches it faster when the gun comes up from the holster or when the dot is not perfectly centered in a small window. That matters on a carry optic, where the window is compact and most defensive shots happen inside 10 yards. The cost is precision: at 25 yards the dot covers about an inch and a half, which can hide a small target. For bullseye-style accuracy, the 2 MOA version is the better pick.

Holosun rates the battery at 50,000 hours on setting 6, and it loads from a side tray so the sight never has to come off the slide. Shake Awake shuts the LED down after the gun sits still and wakes it as soon as it moves, which is how that long runtime is achieved in daily carry. You get 8 daylight settings and 4 night vision settings, brightness memory, and a lockout mode that keeps the buttons from changing settings in the holster.
Plates and Fitment
This sight mounts directly to the K footprint, the same pattern used by the Holosun 407K and 507K, and an RMSc to K adapter plate comes in the box. Check your slide cut first. Factory MOS cuts and some aftermarket slides need a dedicated plate that is sold separately. Use the screw length that matches your plate, add a drop of thread locker, and torque to spec, since loose screws cause most lost-zero complaints.
What to Know Before You Commit
A compact enclosed window will never be as forgiving as a full-size optic, so budget some dry-fire time to train a consistent presentation. The enclosed box is slightly taller than open micro dots, which affects holster compatibility; you will need an optic-cut holster. The price is higher than budget open-emitter options, but you are paying for a sight that keeps working in rain, snow and pocket debris.
