Cross Armory Legion Slide

The slide is a Cross Armory Legion, CNC machined from billet 17-4 stainless steel and H900 heat treated, where many aftermarket slides use non-stainless material. Cross Armory holds fitment tolerances as tight as plus or minus .0005 inch and adds a reduced-friction reset ramp. The slide is weight reduced, with window cuts on the top and sides that the maker says shed heat and improve accuracy through dimensional stability.

It has an RMR cut with 6-32 tapped holes that fits RMR-pattern red dots. True Grip deep-cut serrations give purchase with wet, muddy or gloved hands, and a smooth line along the bottom of the slide keeps your support thumb from dragging on it.

C&H Precision COMP Max Red Dot

The pistol comes with a C&H Precision COMP Max red dot already mounted on the RMR cut. Its one-piece housing is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, it is rated for +P and +P+ ammunition, and it carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Cross Armory Pro Comp Spiral Barrel

The Cross Armory Pro Comp barrel replaces the factory Marksman barrel with a spiral-fluted, match-grade design built to help keep the muzzle flatter during fast strings of fire. Compensated barrels do increase muzzle blast and flash for the shooter and anyone beside you, and they foul faster, so plan on more frequent cleaning. Run full-power 9mm loads; light target ammo may not cycle as consistently through a comp setup.

Trigger and Internal Upgrades

The GLOCK Performance Trigger gives a flat-faced shoe, a lighter pull and a crisper wall than the standard Gen 5 trigger. A dimpled three-pin set replaces the factory pins, and a tungsten guide rod adds weight under the barrel to reduce muzzle flip. Together these changes make the pistol feel heavier up front and settle faster between shots, which is most noticeable during drills and competition.

Controls, Magwell and Sights

The extended magazine catch and extended slide lock are easier to reach without shifting your grip, especially with gloves. The flared magwell funnels the magazine during fast reloads. Taller, suppressor height iron sights stand above the slide so they can still be seen through or around an optic window. Keep in mind that a magwell and taller sights can change which holsters fit, so check holster compatibility before you carry it.

Magazines Included

You get three magazines, two of them fitted with Cross Armory +0 base pads. A +0 pad adds no capacity; it gives a larger, grippier surface for stripping a stuck magazine and seats firmly in the flared magwell. The Glock 45 accepts standard Glock 17 pattern 9mm magazines, so spares and higher capacity options are easy to find.

Shooting and Handling

The full-size grip gives a complete three-finger purchase while the compact slide keeps the pistol quick to draw. The added weight of the tungsten rod and the comp barrel make recoil feel soft and flat for a 9mm. As with any modified pistol, run a few hundred rounds of your preferred ammunition before relying on it for defense.

Condition

This used pistol has been inspected at our Collegeville shop. The serialized frame is a Glock 47, so the model on your transfer paperwork will read Glock 47; it is set up in the Glock 45 configuration with the shorter slide and barrel. The C&H Precision COMP Max red dot shown in the photos is included and mounted on the RMR cut. Because this is a single pre-owned item, once it sells it is gone.
