Description
This SIG Sauer P320 M17 Red Dot Package is a pre-owned SIG Sauer P320 M17 in 9mm that has fired fewer than 500 rounds, sold ready to run with a C&H Precision COMP red dot, a Forward Controls OPF-M17 plate, a magwell, a spare coyote Full Size Medium grip module and four factory magazines. It is a turnkey optics-equipped pistol at roughly the price of a bare new gun.
SIG Sauer P320 M17 Red Dot Package Overview
The M17 is the commercial version of the striker-fired pistol the U.S. Army adopted under the Modular Handgun System program. This example wears the familiar coyote PVD stainless slide and a coyote full-size grip module with a 4.7 inch barrel. The previous owner added a quality red dot and a mounting plate that keeps the rear sight in place, plus a flared magwell for faster reloads. Round count is light, so the barrel, springs and trigger components have plenty of service life left. Look over the photos for cosmetic condition before you buy.
What Comes in the Box
You get the pistol, the factory SIG hard case, three 21-round coyote-baseplate magazines, one 17-round magazine, the C&H Precision COMP red dot already mounted, the Forward Controls OPF-M17 plate, the installed magwell, and an extra coyote Full Size Medium grip module. Buying those accessories separately adds up quickly. The 21-round magazines alone are a meaningful cost, and having four magazines means you can head to a class or a match on day one.
Forward Controls OPF-M17 Plate With RSD
The M17 slide ships with a removable rear sight plate. The Forward Controls OPF-M17 replaces it with a machined optic mounting plate that adds a rear sight dovetail (RSD). That lets the dot sit low while you keep an iron rear sight behind it, so you have a lower-third co-witness backup if the battery ever dies. A plate that holds the rear sight is a smarter setup than a plate that deletes it.
C&H Precision COMP Red Dot
The C&H Precision COMP on this pistol is the green-dot version, mounted and ready to zero. Many shooters find a green dot easier to see in bright daylight. Its one-piece housing is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, it is rated for +P and +P+ ammunition, and it is IPX7 waterproof, submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The large lateral window helps you find the dot quickly and keeps more of the scene in view, and at about 28 grams it adds very little weight to the slide.
Shake Awake motion control powers the dot on as soon as the pistol moves, and it sleeps after 5 minutes without movement. A single CR1632 battery is rated for up to 50,000 hours. Ten brightness levels run from bright daylight down to night vision use, with settings 1 and 2 NV compatible. Adjustment is 1 MOA per click with 45 MOA of travel each way. Confirm zero after purchase and replace the battery on a set schedule.

Modular Grip and Magwell
The P320 fire control unit is the serialized part, so the grip module is a user-changeable piece. The included spare coyote Full Size Medium module gives you a clean backup or a base for future stippling while the installed module keeps the flared magwell. A magwell speeds up reloads under stress, but it adds bulk at the butt, so it can print more when carried concealed and may not fit every holster.
Shooting and Handling
The 4.7 inch barrel and full-size grip give a long sight radius, a full three-finger purchase and soft recoil in 9mm. The trigger breaks cleanly after a short take-up with a positive reset. Like any P320, this pistol accepts standard factory P320 full-size 9mm magazines. Run quality range ammo through it first, then confirm reliability with your chosen defensive load before carrying it.
Condition and Round Count
The seller reports fewer than 500 rounds through this used handgun. It has been inspected at our Collegeville shop. Normal light wear from holstering and range use may be present, and the photos show the actual gun you will receive. Because this is a single pre-owned item, once it sells it is gone.
State Laws
Some states limit magazine capacity, so the 21-round and 17-round magazines may not be legal where you live. Several states also restrict which handgun models can be sold. Check your state and local laws before you order. Pennsylvania buyers can complete the transfer at our location.
